Chapter 5

"I know Ni-ki, I've known for a while. But why?"

Ni-ki buried his head in Jungwon's neck, avoiding the question. But the older pulled away from the hug, he needed the younger's answer. "I don't know Hyung, I only feel okay when I'm on drugs. I'll never stop, I'm not going to fucking rehab." A tear ran down Ni-ki's face, the older wiped his tear and pulled him back into the hug. Jungwon laid down, the younger laid on top of him. "Ni-ki, promise that you'll tell me whenever you want to do that." The younger hesitated for a moment before nodding and falling asleep, cuddling Jungwon.

-Time skip-

The next morning, Ni-ki woke up from a text. He opened his phone; it was from his friend.

'Ni-ki! Come race today, bring the friend you're living with, he's fun.'

'Idk if he does drag racing.'

'Ask him now ig. hurry and be here in an hour.'

'Ok fine'

The younger put his phone down, walking over to Jungwon. He shook him and the older woke up. "Can you come with me to the drag races?" Jungwon knew exactly what they were. He used to do it, but he grew out of it. "Uh, sure." Ni-ki smiled at Jungwon and walked off to take some of Jungwon's clothes.

(IF U DONT KNOW WHAT DRAG RACING IS, IT IS RLLY FAST, DANGEROUS AND UNSUPERVISED CAR RACING BASICALLY)

About 30 minutes later, both were ready and were leaving the house. Jungwon was driving to the place the younger had asked to go to. "Hyung, have you done it before?" Jungwon looked at the younger and hesitantly nodded. The younger was impressed and proud of his Hyung. Once they arrived, Ni-ki's friends ran up to them and greeted them. Ni-ki grabbed Jungwon's hand and they ran to the cars. "You going to do it?" Ni-ki asked the older, Jungwon didn't want to, but he missed the feeling, so he agreed. They agreed to do a race together.

"3... 2... 1!" A flag was pulled up and Jungwon and Ni-ki drove as fast as possible. They were both so good at it, and it was a tight race. They tied in the end and when they left the cars they shook hands, pretending as if they were strangers. They burst out laughing straight after and hugged each other. They ran back to the car after a few minutes and drove home. Half way through the drive it started to rain heavily. Jungwon didn't care but the younger seemed to get excited. "Hyung! Pull over please, just next to that field." Jungwon didn't question the request and did as Ni-ki asked. When he parked, the younger jumped out of the car and ran into the field, he held his arms out and looked up at the rainy sky.

The younger laid down in the grass, his legs and arms spread out. The older ran down to him, protecting his face from the cold rain on the way. "Ni-ki, what are you doing?" Niki just smiled and laughed. "Laying in the rain." The older looked at him, admiring his child like excitement. Jungwon quickly laid down beside him, enjoying the cold.

So, they laid down on the cold grassy field, soaked and freezing. Appreciate the little things, a quote Ni-ki lived by. They were both shivering and drenched. The younger got up and held his hand out to Jungwon, lifting Jungwon up and then skipping back toward the car. Jungwon laughed and smiled at the black-haired boy.

The drove home, freezing and dripping with water. Ni-ki smiled the whole car ride, this made Jungwon feel as if he accomplished something. The second they got home, they got changed into oversized hoodies and sweatpants and slid under the blankets of Jungwon's bed. Laying there, talking to each other. Ni-ki watched Jungwon talk about the business trip, all he could focus on were Jungwon's dimples and his cat-like features. He was adorable in the younger's eyes. Although it was 1pm, the boys had run out of things to do and once again fell asleep, cuddling each other. Ni-ki hadn't fallen asleep yet and looked at Jungwon once more.

"Hyung, your perfect." He whispered.

Sorry it's a short chapter! I hope you liked it. I don't 100%  understand the concept of drag racing so please correct me if I said something wrong.
