It was a one night thing!

It had been a whole week since Cheryl stayed over at Toni's and she had just told Veronica everything...

"No freaking way!" Veronica said laughing. "So what you just left after? No goodbye kiss?" Veronica said nudging the redhead teasingly.

"Shut up" Cheryl said rolling her eyes.

"What, a peck on ths cheek is nothing compared to the other places she's-" Veronica said cutting off by the stare Cheryl shot at her. "Okay fine.. I'm just so mad I missed it! I'll be there next time, I promise"

"There will be no next time.." Cheryl said shooting the raven haired girl another look.

"If you say so.." Veronica said laughing to herself.

Cheryl felt her phone buzz in her pocket and looked at it to see a text from Toni Topaz. She rolled her eyes, what could she want?

"Your mom again?" Veronica said, sensing Cheryl's sudden change of mood.

"No uh.. it's from Toni" Cheryl said as she unlocked her phone go read it.

Hey red, sorry if it's a bad time but you're friends been in an accident, meet me at the hospital? Thanks - T

"Oh my god. I have to go" Cheryl said throwing her handbag over her shoulder.

"Seriously? You're ditching me to hookup with Toni?? Rude" Veronica said rolling her eyes dramatically.

"No it's Kevin.. he's been in a-an accident" Cheryl stuttered as she called over Pop to get the bill.

"Oh my god. Then I'm definitely coming" Veronica said as she put her coat on.

Cheryl payed Pop and her and Veronica made their way to the hospital. What had Kevin done to himself now? she thought as she entered the building.

"Hi, um we're here to see a Kevin. Kevin Keller?" Cheryl said to the elderly woman at the front desk.

"Oh yes. He's upstairs room 208" the woman said reading from her computer.

"Thanks" Cheryl said as her and Veronica made their way to room 208.

"Hey red" Toni said as she walked over to Cheryl and Veronica.

"What happened?" Cheryl asked her voice laced with worry.

"He was just out with me and Fangs and he tipped over on the motorbike and landed weirdly on his leg, doc says it could be broken" Toni said.

"Who the hell trusted him on a motorbike?" Veronica said laughing but quickly stopped when she gained looks from both Toni and Cheryl. "Okay, okay sorry, I'm totally concerned or whatever... I'm Veronica Lodge by the way" Veronica said smiling and holding her hand out to Toni.

"Toni Topaz" Toni said shaking it.

"I love your hair!" Veronica said smiling. "I'm gonna go in and check on Kev, I'll only be a minute" she said walking into the room.

"Thanks for texting me" Cheryl said attempting to break the awkward silence they fell into after Veronica left.

"Yeah of course, thought he might rather having his friends here" Toni said smiling.

Veronica came back out a few minutes later. "He's in a crappy mood, wouldn't recommend going in" She said after she closed the door behind her.

"You would be too if you just broke your leg" Toni replied back.

"I wouldn't be stupid enough to get on one of those death traps to begin with. What was he thinking?" Veronica said shaking her head.

"Dunno, Fangs said he wanted to teach him how to ride" Toni shrugged. "Give him an hour and he'll be back to himself"
