Two sausian days ago, Oikawa had the surprise of having Akaashi and Kenma calling him. He was minding his own business dealing with some of the trickiest diplomatic papers for Iwa-chan when his holo-screen had lightened up with a call demand from the two humans of Ayll. To be fully honest, they have chatted before: mostly Akaashi and him, because the other wanted to learn more about the Soulbond than his blond counterpart. To this day, he still thinks Kenma would have gone willingly with Tetsurō if the other had asked, soulbond or not. When he had answered, he had seen Akaashi without his rather imposing shadow, Kōtarō. It was a surprise in itself, since they have been glued at the hips since day one (not that he can judge them for it...). Akaashi had seemed a little nervous but mostly determined and it hadn't taken a few seconds for Oikawa to understand the nature of this call. Something about chatting about their soulmates' customs and seeking advice. Or maybe they just wanted some time with one of the few humans scattered in space. And so, he had gladly accepted their demand and opened up the portal he had left discreetly behind. The Galactic Alliance was rather uptight on its use but what they didn't know couldn't hurt them.

He still thinks not interfering with Earth was a dumb idea from the beginning. He's not naïve enough to think his kind wouldn't have chosen chaos but at least the Galactic Alliance could have pulled out their... idea right at the roots. For now, the Alliance is leaving them, mainly Akaashi, alone, because they know he needs to settle before his trial - not as an accused man, but as a witness. As Iwaizumi's consort, he has access to confidential information and he knows the trial is coming, sooner or later. They want to catch the two other humans before, which might be possible with the technology of his Soulmate's world. Moreover, the people of Gliese 581c (he can't get their name right so earthian's name it is) are joining forces with Gliese 832c, Zhoca, Hajime's home - and him, by extension. Their psychic power combined with sausian's advanced technology is bound to do miracles. Perhaps it will open a new path for the people of the Milky Way. Sausians have been offering their portal technology to the Alliance since the last century and it has yet to be accepted and authorized... However, Oikawa trusts Akaashi and Kenma to use it fairly and wisely. Well, he's sure Kenma would never actually use it since Tetsurō is already forcing him to go outside their home but you get it.

It's been a long time since he had a human over. Since they can't travel much, the other humans stay within their new worlds and rarely contact the others. Sometimes they do little gatherings, with the Alliance's blessing of course. It will do them good to see each other. Oikawa has a soft spot for Akaashi.

As of now, he's inside his house, gathering everything he needs for his friends. They're both outside, chilling on the beach, Soulmate-less for once. It's the first time he has seen Akaashi without Kōtarō. It seems like a big step for him, thus, Oikawa is gathering some high-ends of food from around this world.

Oikawa lives near the sea. The gentle rustling of the wind and the rolling of the waves calms him down - especially when he first arrived on this planet. Then it became a habit to come here, which later turned into a beautiful not-quite-clay house with silk chiffon as doors (the temperature here is never below 20°C). It's widely different from the ultra futuristic underwater cities, whose lights can shine through the nights, even if they're as deep as several kilometers. But this is his house and he loves it. At night when it's not too hot, Hajime stays over in his little pool of saltwater by Oikawa's bed and it's even better.

*I hope he can come see them a little. Damn paperwork.* Oikawa thinks as he grabs a curved plate filled with the sausian equivalent of fruits.

A swish of fabric, then he is out of his house and on the beach.

Kenma is sitting in the sand, looking vaguely uncomfortable under an umbrella. Akaashi is perched on a rock in the middle of the shore. His feet are fully submerged below the water. He seems to be looking at the horizon where the waters turn a deep mauve. Oikawa knows his mind is even further. Akaashi wants to be left in peace yet not alone. How contradictory. However Oikawa understands his feelings perfectly: he was the same, once.
