Harry's POV

Tw a form of worshipping Satan? Bashing Christianity for shits and giggles. Sorry if you're a respectful Christian I totally respect your belief system and this was aimed at the homophobic bullshit and other things harmful to other people just to let the respectful nice Christians out there know. I know the majority of you will be that type of Christian since this is the story you're reading so I'm terribly sorry to you.

When I got back to the dorms, smiling with my hair slightly messed up, Ron and hermione both knew something was up.

How I knew?

"So" Hermione said as soon as I sat down at the table where her and Ron were sitting "what happened with you and Malfoy?"

"How do you know it has anything to do with me and him?" I asked.

"Harry come on" Ron said, raising his eyebrows. I knew playing dumb was a losing game, but I could try.

"Okay yes so there may have been a little development in the Malfoy department" I admitted.

And I told them what had happened.

"So he's not a pompous asshole like we thought?" Ron asked, seeming a bit disappointed. He was promptly elbowed by Hermione who just said "Harry that's wonderful!"

"It really is isn't it" Hairy said with a smile.

"Oh!" Hermione exclaimed, "speaking of wonderful news.. well kind of anyway"

She looked at Ron and he nodded.

"We found out what the symbol by Ron's bed means" she admitted, but she sounded more somber now.

"And what's that?" Harry asked carefully.

"What we found was it's an ancient symbol of a cult that died off a long time ago called the devils eye. It was supposedly a cult that died out centuries ago. Supposedly they had somehow managed to contact some version of hell through dark magic and carried out the devils will."

Ron cut into the story saying "is hell a muggle thing?"

"Yes." Harry confirmed. "It's a muggle concept that the Dursley's believed in where if you do good in the world and follow the rules of some guy in the sky who made everything and flooded the world one time then you would go to this place called heaven when you die which is where everyone wants to go, but if you sin in your lifetime then you go to a place called hell where you face eternal suffering and it's run by this dude called Satan, or 'the devil'"

"Muggles and their beliefs" Ron said shaking his head slightly.

"By that logic I'm also going to hell because being gay is a sin"

At this point ron just started laughing.

"Muggles are so weird"

"Technically" Hermione pointed out "it's the Priests who made up all that stuff not jesus who's literal catch fraise was to be kind to everyone and then the priests corrupted that"

"Who's Jesus and who's preists?" Ron asked, once again confused. "Jesus is the result of god possessing his father Joseph and fucking his mother Mary so they could have a son who spread the word of god and did a bunch of magic shit. Now that I think of it he was probably a wizard. Anyway a priest is a person who could read and they created what's called the bible which is where people called Christian's get all their beliefs but since back when it was created only priests could read they just said whatever befitted them most" Harry said.

"There actually is proof Jesus was a wizard" Hermione put in. "At least from what I've read he was just a wizard seeing how much he could mess with muggles if he did a magic trick or two"

Harry snickered, thinking of the Dursley's and how much of at least the senior Dursley's based their personality off of being Christian.

"Anyway" Hermione said "the main thing this cult did was kill people as sacrifices to Satan to keep him happy and it was supposed to grant the wizards sacrificing the other person an abnormal amount of power. This seems to be based on fact given the dark wizards who have randomly gained power over the last few centuries such as Voldemort and Grindelwald. Luckily few wizard carry through because the sacrifice is extremely long and painful for the victim"

"Oh" was all either Harry or Ron could say.

"All I can guess is that the person- or people- either didn't know that or wimped out before they could do anything serious. My question is why specifically Ron?" Hermione pondered.

"So how do we find out who did it?" Ron asked.

Alright y'all sorry for the short no drarry chapter, but we did figure stuff out. I say we because back when this book flopped because I didn't have stuff planned out and didn't know how to finish it. There shall be drarry next chapter and if the like 'drarry mood' or like vibe is different I apologize in advance.
Also sorry if the name the devils eye is cringe as hell but I don't care because it's an accurate name to what the cult is.
