It's been a few days since the incident at the beach and I have to say that I haven't smoked this much weed in a hot minute. I couldn't really focus on anything so I tried my best to calm down and keep my mind busy with other things except Rafe.

Opening my drawer I grabbed the little plastic zip bag that Barry gave me a week ago, only for it to appear empty. "Fuck." I cussed, letting myself fall onto my bed. I most definitely had to pay the dealer a visit.

Arriving at the cut I parked my car rather far away from the dealers van, after all I didn't want anyone to see one of the most looked up to families' daughter buy weed in this cracked up neighborhood.

Strutting around the corner I was about to open the rusty door of Barry's trailer as it was almost swung fully into my face, a pair of ocean blue eyes looking directly at me.

When we both realized who was standing in front of us, each of us paused for a few seconds. Of course, we had to be at the exact same place at the exact same time.

I began to think that the universe must really hate me.

Collecting myself, I just stared at him and squeezed past him before I quickly shut the door behind me.

"What the fuck was that J? Weren't u guys all over eachother just a few days ago?" He looked at me hella confused and I sighed.

"Things changed..let's not talk about it."

"No wonder Rafe was being a pain in the ass today, he fucked up again?" The brown haired boy leaned against the doorframe.

I laughed out, of course he did. "Well, what do u think?"

"It's really a love hate relationship between u two huh?" Barry said, making me think. Of course I cared for him but his actions just kept on pushing me further away.

I was quick to seal the deal with Barry so I was out of there within a few minutes.

"Ya know, I actually thought you and country club could fix things." He said as I stepped out of the trailer.

"And maybe that's the problem, cause I keep on thinking that I can fix him but it's all useless if he doesn't wanna change. We would never be able to have a healthy relationship." I shrugged.

"That's too bad, really.." he added before I waved the dealer goodbye and vanished from there as fast as possible.

Just as I walked through the door and greeted my mom, I received a text from Sarah, saying that I should accompany her to a party of one of her kook friends tonight.

I scoffed, a kook party? That screams Rafe Cameron all over it.

Biting my lip, I stuffed my phone back into my shorts before it started buzzing incessantly. Once again, I pulled the device out of my pocket and reluctantly answered the call.

"Sarah, I really don't wanna go to this party.." I started to complain, but in vain.

"why not?" She questioned, and I just knew by the tone of her voice that she was squinting her eyebrows together.

"Cause I bet your brother is gonna be there." I explained to my best friend, knowing well that I couldn't stand him right now.

"Nope. He's out to meet some random chick."

"Wait, what?" I said more outraged than I intended it to sound, and I felt my hands starting to shake.

"Yeah, I overheard him talking to a girl on the phone just a few minutes ago, and he's meeting her tonight." she told me, sounding somewhat concerned towards the end.
