-the glimmer in his eyes-

Sanemi cannot tell wether if it's the wether that makes him hot or the way he stares at him. Those beautiful eyes look over to him like he knew Sanemi was thinking about him.

"Hello Shinazugawa."

His eyes softened at Sanemi, and a small smile appeared on his face.

"Hi Tomioka."

Sanemi's heart raced the moment Giyuu decided to talk to him. His soft and quiet tone made Sanemi feel happy inside.

"Why are you standing there?"

Sanemi looked at Giyuu's eyes, though he cannot see the color, he has heard many people say that Giyuu has beautiful ocean blue eyes.

"Shinazugawa?"

Sanemi snaps out of his day dream and looks at Giyuu.

"What."

"You've zoned out a bit."

"I'm fine."

Giyuu then nods and waves goodbye to Sanemi.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going over to Uzui's. His wives invited me over for dinner."

Sanemi felt bitterness in his heart. He knew that Tengen would never try to take Giyuu away from him- because of the times when Tengen would go to him and be like 'just go and confess to him already!' It had annoyed Sanemi a lot.

"Ok, bye."

"Bye Shinazugawa."

Deep down in Giyuu's heart, he felt a little guilty for not spending more time with Sanemi. His 24th birthday was coming up soon, resulting his death in one more year. He would then later decide to spend more time with his friends and family(aka Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke).

He soon walked away from Sanemi, and headed to Tengen's. It was nice of them to invite him.

"Tomioka! Your here! In flashy style too!"

Tengen gave a big smile to Giyuu before dragging him into his living room.

"Suma! Makio! Giyuu's here!"

Giyuu found it strange that Tengen didn't call Hinatsuru.

"Uzui, where's Hinatsuru-San?"

"She when out to get some groceries- she's so flamboyant!"

Giyuu's mouth curves into a smile as Tengen starts telling him the adventure he had with his wives. Someone knocked 3 times before going inside the house. It was Hinatsuru.

"Ah! Tengen-sama, they ran out of tofu today. I couldn't buy it."

"No worries Hinatsuru. Tomioka's here."

"Oh! Hello Giyuu!" (Him and Hinatsuru got close over the year)

"Hello."

The 5 decided to play some board games before Giyuu went home.

"Do you think Shinazugawa confessed to him yet?"

"Probably not, Suma. Sanemi's a coward, and he's unflamboyant!"

-wit me baby giyuu-

"Shinazugawa? Why are you here at 8pm?"

"I could ask you the same."

"I came here to get a gift for Tengen and his wives for having me over."

"Well I came here to get a gift for my valentines."

"Oh? Who would that be..?"

Giyuu felt a little jealous. He didn't understand why, because it was Sanemi's choice anyways. His eyes look at the ground for a split second but look back at Sanemi.

"They're very special, Tomioka."

"Mn, I guess they are. To win a grumpy man's heart must be impossible."

Giyuu smiles at Sanemi.

"However, I do need to go back to my estate. Thank you for your time, Shinazugawa."

And just like that, Giyuu walks away, leaving Sanemi standing in the store alone. Sanemi's heart was beating fast, and he was clutching onto his gift hard. If only he knew it was for him..Sanemi thought. His lips tightened into a thin line and he went to pay for the gift.

Those eyes make him feel. And the glimmer of it would surely look nice on it. Maybe then, will Sanemi finally confess. He pictured the memory before taking his last breath.

"I love you, Tomioka Giyuu."

He felt tear drops on his face, yet he smiled at the person. The person held him tightly, lips quivering and mumbling random words.

"Shinazugawa.."

The tears roll down faster as Sanemi loses consciousness.

"I love you too.."
