Drop By

"Perfect!" Feferi said, looking at the beanbag she dragged all the way from her living room to her bedroom. It was cluttered enough, the beanbag made it look even worse, but who cares anyways? Karkat's coming over soon and it would be useless to start cleaning now. But that's not the point. Feferi adjusted the giant snack bowl in front of the beanbags.

 She dusted off her hands and put her hands on her hips proudly. Before she could praise herself for her hard work, a knock interrupted her thoughts. "That must be Karcrab!" Feferi thought, speed walking over to the door excitedly. She swung the door open and hugged the figure in front of her. "Uhhhh, ma'am?"  An unfamiliar voice said. Feferi quickly unleashed the stranger and looked at them confusingly. "Here's your pizza..." The guy said awkwardly. Feferi's face dusted a rosey pink with embarrassment and she apologized before grabbing the pizza, paying, then closing the door shortly after.  

Feferi made her way to her bedroom and sat the pizza down on the floor next to the beanbags. She pouted a little and whipped out her phone from her pajama pocket.

CC: i hope your getting here soon, the pizza i ordered just came and i don't want it to get cold! >:(

CC: KARKAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CG: WHAT IN GODS NAME DO YOU WANT?!

CC: wooooow....!!! i thought you remembered that i invited you over yesterday! >:0

CC: and you have the audacity to be rude to me while i just finished setting the mood for us?

CC: so rude! >:(

CG: UGH.

CG: SORRY OKAY? 

CG: I'LL BE THERE SOON. DON'T SHIT YOURSELF OUT OF IMPATIENTNESS.

CC: okay karcrab!!! 'sea' you later!!!

Feferi giggled and stuffed her phone back into her pocket. She walked towards one of the beanbags before plopping down on it and making herself comfortable. She sat there patiently for awhile, occasionally fiddling with the snacks or clicking through the TV channels. But, she managed to wait until Karkat finally knocked on her door. As soon as Feferi heard it she sprung up and rushed towards the door. Swinging it open and scooping up the smaller male into a bone-crushing hug. "Jesus Feferi-.." Karkat wheezed, pushing against Feferi's chest away from her. Trying to get some air. "Sorry! I am just sooooo happy to 'sea' you right now!" Feferi squealed. Karkat furrowed his brow at the cheesy pun but before he could say anything Feferi pulled him inside.  

She scampered into her room, Karkat close behind her as she let go of his hand and showed him her awesome setup. Karkat raised a brow and kicked some of Feferi's clothes out of the way before following her to the beanbags. Feferi sat down on a hot pink beanbag as Karkat sat down on a bright red one. "So, what are we watching?" Karkat asked, taking a bite of caramel popcorn. "Whatever you want to! That's why I got every rom-com and romance movie that I could find!" Feferi smiled brightly as Karkat took a look at the small pile.

 "Seems like you don't have that much." Karkat grumbled under his breath before pulling out one. "You have 500 days of summer?" He said observing the cover. "Yep! It's not my favorite... but I thought you'd like it since I still have it!" Feferi said taking the movie out of Karkat's hands and slipping the DVD in. "Why did you have the movie in the first place? I thought you weren't a fan of rom-coms or any of that romance stuff." Karkat said, shifting in his beanbag. Feferi ignored his question and scooted her beanbag closer to Karkat's. 

After the movie ended Feferi turned her head to Karkat who was now sleeping peacefully covered in crumbs and soda stains. She smiled standing up and dusting herself off before heading over to Karkat, putting her hands under his arms and hoisting him up over her shoulder. She walked over to her bed and laid Karkat down gently, flopping in after. Feferi hugged Karkat and rested her chin on his head, slowly closing her eyes. She began to doze off and finally fall asleep, she'd make Karkat some breakfast in the morning and hangout some more after.
