I picked up my phone from the floor and seen a message from Darrian asking me why I left him on read. I replied saying that I mentally responded. He then asked me if I was still coming over. Jayden was asleep and he wouldn't hear me leave, so I responded yes. He sent me the address thinking I forgot. I contemplated whether or not I would take Jayden's car since it was too dark for me to walk outside alone. "Fuck it.." I went to my room upstairs and freshened up. I changed my outfit to a hoodie and sweats to cover majority of my bruises then I went to the kitchen grabbing Jaydens keys and left through the back door, since the front door creaked loudly. Before I drove off I texted Darrian to remind him I'm on my way. Then I connected my phone to the car and shuffled my playlist.
I parked in-front of Darrians house and got out of the car. I walked up the the steps knocking on the door and waited for a answer. Ten seconds later, and the door opened to Darrian standing there in a white wife beater and basketball shorts.
"Ayeee Cleo come in" he said leading the way to his room I walked in and took off my shoes. I followed him up to his room while looking around the house that I grew up in. Darrians house was where all the parties and sleepovers were. I noticed the different changes that happened. New color paint on the walls. Marble floor in the kitchen. I missed this house. I missed Darrian.I missed my Tia, and I missed my mom.
I was never familiar with my dad's side, so my moms side was where my real family was. We got to his room and I saw a girl laying on his bed and Dd sitting on his gaming chair playing some basketball game that Jayden also plays. "Yo , Cleo's here" Darrian announced The girl looks up from her phone in Ddots bed and smiled. "Hey Cleo"she said, "my names Bianca" I felt relived that I wasn't the only female here. It would be weird being the only girl so I'm glad she's here. I smiled back saying nice to meet you. "Nice to meet you too, you're really pretty I love your eyes" I blushed at her comment "Thank you, you're very pretty too!" I responded "Y'all tryna smoke? It's getting boring" Ddot said I didn't like the idea of smoking because it reminded me of my dad but I felt like I needed a break so I decided to say yes. I sat down on the bed and looked towards Bianca. "So how'd you know Darrian?" I asked "Ohh I'm his girlfriend!" She smiled I looked over at Darrian and teased him. "Ooohhh Darrian has a girlfrienddddd?" "Shut up bro.." He chuckled while looking away
