CHAPTER 3: Our Special Spot . . . .

Bobby was thinking long and hard about where Johnny could be.He searched around but couldn't find him an he was getting nervous, Johnny wasn't very good at keeping his cool so Bobby's mind went wild with possibilities.

Johnny could be in prison and nobody would know.He knew that he was probably way in over his head (probably) so he thought of the only place he could think of Johnny going, a place he a Johnny used to go to as little 7th graders.

Bobby and Johnny found the spot so special and uninhabited that they swore to secrecy and confidentiality between themselves.Not even Tommy Dutch and jimmy know where the spot is or if they even had a spot in the first place.

Bobby would never say it out loud but he loves being in that spot with Johnny, he always felt open and free around him.Another thing Bobby would never EVER say out loud is that he had been so close to Johnny that he developed a bit of a crush on him, Bobby never knew what to call himself because he definitely was into girls but Johnny was the only person he ever truly loved.

He and Johnny would always go out by the lake and trees and have picnics, since nobody knew the spot they weren't scared of being "harassed" because of the oddly romantic moments they often shared.

Although there was definitely something there neither of them could say anything about it and Bobby knew that so he just tried to let it go for years.

He was incredibly jealous of Daniel because recently he was getting Johnnys attention.Even if he wasn't anywhere in sight Johnny would go on and it n about him and it was making Bobby sick, there nothing very special about Daniel so why is he getting the attention Bobby wonders.

While he thinking about all of this and walking to the spot he finds Johnny and Daniel laying on the grass next to the lake smoking weed.Bobby could feel his face heat up and his temper rise as he looked at the two seemingly have a lovely time at his and Johnnys spot.

Bobby couldn't help but speak up, he couldn't stand that Johnny broke his trust and was having fun with another guy it was just horrible to even think of so he yelled out "what the hell Johnny".Johnny quickly turned around and shot up to walk over to try and explain the situation."look I just needed someone to talk to and Daniel was just there at the right time, I was so high I forgot about the promise please forgive me ."

Bobby felt like drowning the both of them but realized that Daniel didn't know any better ."Why would you break our promise you know how important that was to me and you broke it over some stupid guy" Bobby couldn't help but say that last part to make it sting in Johnnys wound a little more.

He mouthed the word "sorry" to Daniel but he still looked annoyed.He wasn't going to take Johnnys shit anymore so he ran off before Johnny could say anything back to him.

The only thing that Bobby could think about was his childhood with Johnny, trying to explore every crevasse of this place, it only made his tears spill out faster.

FLASHBACK SEQUENCE:

Bobby and Johnny got ready to go on their bikes when they were stopped by a mildly angry man, Johnnys step-dad Sid.he spoke very loud and clear "you boys better not be out playing those childish games in the woods, you need to grown up Johnny do you want people to think your a fucking fairy".

Johnnys expression ran cold and he nodded to get Sid of of his back, Bobby could feel the tension loosen on the way to their spot.
