Daniel felt nervous entering the high school Halloween party, he knew that there was bound to be trouble even if Mr. Miyagi tried his best with the shower costume.

Somehow with the costume on Ali found him, Daniel was very fond of Ali at this point so he knew as soon as she went up to him that it was her. She had a very distinctive smell, like a bubblegum type of smell it was nice and it made him feel safe.

Similar to her distinctive smell, He started to smell trouble, it was the smell of sweet cinnamon and dark sage ...it was a wonderful smell but the person wearing it was not as wonderful he was the opposite.

Daniel knew he had to get out of there as fast as he could so before even letting Ali into his curtain he bolted. In his mind, he knew that she would scold him for it later but for now, he had to lose the scent of trouble.

He could feel him creeping up on him, the pounding in his heart getting louder and the panic getting more intense. he ran to the bathroom to cool himself off and hopefully lose that hooligan. He always wondered why Johnny couldn't just leave well enough alone, it was like he was constantly being hunted like he was the prey in Johnny's sick game. The thought alone made Daniel queasy and uneasy.

Johnny walked right behind him which sent cool shivers and goosebumps down Daniel's neck. Johnny however seemed unfazed as if he hadn't been chasing him, thinking upon it Daniel paused and thought 'Wait had he been chasing me or was I just paranoid'.

He went into a stall and as if he wasn't in a school building with a bunch of people in the bathroom he lit a blunt, maybe he was just having a rough night, too tired to beat Daniel's face in.

A few moments of silence went by and at this point, Daniel was just fixing his hair forgetting Johnny was even there, it was relaxing until Johnny spoke up "Y'know you've been washing your face for a while now LaRusso . " by the sound of his tone he was not happy, but he was not mad either more like a... sad and tired sounding voice.

Daniel's face loomed with confusion and he didn't think before speaking up "Hey, I know we aren't the best of buddies but uh- what's the matter with you, you sound like you've been crying for the past hour." What's worse is that Daniel let out a chuckle, which earned no giggles or laughs back just sad awkward silence.

The air filled with awkwardness and Daniel's cheeks got red out of what he assumed was embarrassment. Johnny let out a long Shaky sigh and finally filled out the awkward somber air "I don't need advice from you, Daniel".

Daniel's head popped up from the sink and he blurted out "Daniel?" He let out a giggle wondering if Johnny was warming up to him, then he thought about it and knew that could never be possible, Johnny isn't too fond of Daniel and it seemed that the burning passion to destroy him wasn't ever going to go away. Daniel's smile faded after the realization and he went back to washing his face.

Johnny spoke up with a quick and almost (very) embarrassed voice which was a bit high-pitched pitched "What's so funny Larusso". Daniel was known to be quick with comebacks and jokes so as soon as Johnny finished he said "What, back to Larusso already I thought your hard shell finally came off ?" Daniel let out another giggle, but this time he heard a second giggle and it was Johnny's.
