CHAPTER 7: The Punishment . . . .

As Johnny stormed out, Daniel stood up to see the damage he caused the annoying kid that nobody liked. As he stood up his eyes went wide with pure shock, the kid's nose looked like it had been broken to pieces, and there was blood all over his clothes and on the desk "Can someone take Randle to the nurse's office".

To be honest that was the first time Daniel ever heard the kid's name, I mean even though he was annoying he wasn't much to care about not enough to even know his name "I'll take him, that looks brutal" Randle gave Daniel and annoyed glare "oh does it? I didn't even notice the gallons of blood I'm losing" he said in an irritated voice. Now for a kid who basically asked for it, he seemed very upset and shocked about it all, Daniel sighed "Do you want me to take you or not" Mr.Arnop looked at Daniel like he said something he shouldn't have, it was a bit sarcastic but at the same time randy was giving attitude so to the brunette it was fair game, cutting the tension between them, Randle spoke up "let's just go".

In the hallway Daniel's mind couldn't help but wander 'I wonder what Johnny is thinking right now, maybe he feels bad I mean I wouldn't since Randy is an annoying little shit but still his nose looked pretty fucked up. What if Johnny gets suspended or expelled, I don't think I would know how to react if he got expelled...'

his inner monologue got cut short by Randy's loud mouth "Hey LaRusso what is up with your jerk ass friend" The tan boy couldn't help but get irritated at his comment " Wouldn't you like to know" Daniel said while rolling his eyes, he could still see blood running down his nose and gushing over the hand trying to barricade it, he snickered to himself at the pathetic boy quietly "I would like to know as a matter of fact" he couldn't find anything to say in return so he shrugged lazily.

Randy is not the type of person you would normally hang out with at all, he doesn't have any friends so quite honestly he had terrible social skills, but that never stops him from yapping his head off "I heard he beat you to a pulp a few weeks ago after the Halloween party, is that true I mean I bet it is Johnny has no self-control he's just a stupid buffoon that likes punching and kicking whatever he wants. Are you like his punching bag or something he probably pays you to stay still while he goes at it. It's been a week though since he supposedly beat you up so I just assumed you finally got blackmail on him and-"Randy's sentence was finally cut short as they arrived at the nurse's office, Daniel slowed his pace before coming to a halt.

"Hey, aren't you going in with me LaRusso?" Daniel smiled at the idiotic statement " Sorry but I'm a good student, can't miss any spare class time" As he was turning around he thought to give Randy some friendly advice "Hey just a little suggestion, maybe if you talked less you wouldn't be in situations like these, have a good day pal! " with that he walked away feeling the gaze of Randy's utterly flabbergasted state.

The brunette wasn't truly as good of a student as he claimed so he decided to walk around a bit before heading to class, but then he spotted Johnny outside of the principal's office and started walking over , Johnny looked up at him as he came closer "Hey Lawrence how's it hanging" the boy slouched in his chair and chuckled a bit before speaking "Well I'm probably getting suspended but it's whatever, so how's the little bitch?" He said calmly, making Daniel laugh a bit before replying " I think you fractured his nose dude there was blood everywhere" They both couldn't help but burst out into laughter at the thought of the annoying boy.

He looked at him " It serves him right, he can't just laugh at me and expect to get away with it without a broken bone" Daniel looked down, pondering if he should even ask the question he was about to ask "What is it Daniel" Johnny said calmly "well I just wanted to ask you a question, you have to be completely honest with me, okay?" The taller boy nodded "Go ahead" Daniel was a bit hesitant to ask but just did it anyway "Are we even friends?" He froze for a second before eventually answering back " Well I don't know, I think we can be friends but it'll be weird because of... y'know. Besides my cobras will tear you to shreds for even attempting to talk to me in public." Johnny let out a breathy laugh "But hey we can still try" Daniel's face lit up as he finished what he said, he never expected Johnny to be open about friendship, especially with Daniel of all people.

He got a warm feeling in his stomach that wouldn't seem to go away, it did go away though as the office door swung open, Principal Hankins furiously looking at Johnny "Mr.Lawrence in my office NOW, you too Mr.LaRusso" as Johnny swiftly got up daniel stayed there entirely flabbergasted at the principals demands, it's not like he did anything why did he have to go in there as well " I meant now Mr.LaRusso" he stood up and escorted himself into the office disappointedly.

The principal sat in her leather desk chair and interlocked her hands together sternly "Now Mr.Lawrence I've thought about what punishment would suit you this time and I think I've found a perfect one for you, Daniel will keep an eye on you, and report any miss behavior from you, you will be by his side at all times possible until this punishment is over that means every passing period, every lunch period, and any other free time or classes you have together." Johnny just stared at her in disbelief, jaw dropping to the floor as he tried to comprehend what she just said.

Daniel felt equally confused and a bit mad, he didn't deserve a punishment since he didn't do anything at least not this time " So when does this thing commence exactly?" Asked Daniel with a strained voice, she smiled fondly and stood up with grace "Today, right now".

He thought about it and spending time with Johnny wasn't such a bad thing, it was just everything surrounding it like the cobras, Ali, and everybody else in the entire school as far as anybody else knows (except for Bobby of course) I and Johnny are mortal enemies, nemeses to be precise. Johnny raised his hand slightly as he sat up in his chair "When will the punishment conclude?" He said managing to keep his composure "Well since this is your last year of high school and you very much disrespected your teacher, plus fracturing Randle's nose I'd say till the end of the school year" Johnny let out a sharp exhale still trying to remain calm, the Principal smiled with pride as this was a perfect punishment for the boy "have a good day boys and Daniel make sure to keep an eye on him" she said in a giddy voice as she sat down in her seat. Daniel couldn't believe this, he didn't even do anything and he managed to get a punishment this was just his luck . . . .
