I felt a bright light seeping into my eyesight as my eyes squinted to adjust to the light violating my eyes.

Miserably failing to do so, I close my eyes and take a deep sigh. I was expecting my mother to come in any moment now and have me run a bath before getting ready for a lesson, but as a few more minutes passed by, that didn't happen.

Why wasn't she coming in? Sighing, I open my eyes and let the brightness blind me. I blink a few times before fully regaining my sight and noticed I was in an unfamiliar room.

Where am I?

I slowly get up from the bed and I felt a faint pain in my right arm. I let out a wince as I look at my right arm and see a cast over it.

"What happened?" I mumble, confused and lost. I don't know what happened to me in the past few days and I had no memory to recall whatsoever.

The sound of the door knob started rattling and my heartbeat quickened as I heard a little click. I had all these questions on my head and it frustrated me.

A small woman appeared from the door and she looked like an angel, with white light coming out from behind her, and her big wings. Maybe I hit my head too hard.

I was always nervous when I'd see new people in my radar, or when people I didn't know conversed with me. Automatically, I stumble back a few steps, keeping my distance.

Her expression softens as she sees me while holding a tray of food on her hands. I'd be lying if I said the food didn't look delicious. I take a glance at the food and internally lick my lips as I look at the gourmet meal.

I shake my head before glaring at her to show her I wasn't scared, "W-who are you?" I smack myself for stuttering before looking beside me to grab an object.

She lets out a soft laugh and my head snaps into her direction, "Why are you laughing?" I furrow my brows before grabbing something that looked like a telephone.

"Dear, what are you wearing? I told Annabelle to change you into clothes that fit you," she shakes her head disapprovingly.

I look down and see myself wearing something that was barely even a shirt. It showed my arms and my cleavage and I was wearing shorts that show my legs.

I shriek before grabbing the comforter in the bed and attempting to cover myself. Mama would kill me if she ever saw me wearing this while someone else was looking.

I clear my throat before holding my head high, "I-I'm covered," I say, trying to maintain my pride, "Who's Annabelle, and why am I here?"

She walks towards me with the tray of food and I tighten my hands around the telephone looking object, "S-step away or I'll hit you!" I threaten her.
