"You think I don't have control over you?" He asks darkly while looking at me like he could rip me to pieces.
I stare at him with fear, "I-"
"Every fucking night, you lay under me, screaming my name at the top of your lungs, making it pretty clear...

OUTSIDE. I finally get to go outside, technically, not yet. But Angelo told me he would give his terms or what 'he should get in return' after this meeting.
I'm quite suspicious of what he wants, he's not the type to agree with something I want so easily, especially considering he's so hellbent on making my life hell— which he succeeded in doing.
But I choose to think on the positive side of this, it doesn't matter what he asks me to do, as long as the outcome is of me finally getting to go outside, then I can finally plan my escape.
A sense of deja vu emits into my body. I was standing in front of a mirror as well, planning to tell my mother that I did not want to fulfill her wishes for me to marry.
Why look at how the tables have turned. Not even three months later I'm standing in front of a mirror with a ring on my finger, married to who they call 'satan'.
If I knew this would be the outcome of my runaway, then I would've stayed home back at the society and marry Mr. Louie. That's how bad I want to get out of this place.
I stand closer to the mirror and notice how tired my eyes look. The nightmares have been taking a toll effect on me, they haven't stopped and keep getting worse. From the priest getting shot to my mother dying in his place.
I wince and screw my eyes shut at the memory of the nightmare, there's no point in trying to escape my nightmares because they take me and drown me every night with Angelo being the only one who's able to bring me back up to the surface.
"Contemplating your life decisions?" My eyes open to see Enzo leaning on the door frame with his legs and arms crossed through the mirror.
"That's none of your business," I say bitterly. I still won't forget that he's the reason I'm here. If he hadn't brought me all the way here from the plane, I would've been out there somewhere continuing my studies and starting my ballet career.
"Is it just me or has Capo's attitude influenced you?" He raises a brow and uncrosses his arms.
I don't like treating people with disrespect. The heavens know how much I wish people didn't treat my mother with disrespect in the society. I would never do that to someone else, ever.
But Enzo is different, "Is it just me or are you just a loyal dog, always barking when your 'Capo' gives you orders." I cross my arms and face back at him, who's looking at me with shock but a hint of amusement.
"Damn princess, I didn't think you'd have it in you to insult someone. One wrong word and you look like you'd shatter to a billion pieces with your delicate features." He laughs.
"I don't. But you're excluded because you're the sole reason why I ended up in this altered version of hell!" I don't know why I'm letting my emotions out, they've just been bottled in for so long that I need to let some of them out even if it's a painful emotion like anger.
