I nervously shifted away from Pansy looking at both of my friends. The Slytherins all shifted closer to me, and so did Harry and Cedric.
“Malfoy,” Harry said, glaring at Malfoy.
“Potter,” Malfoy said, glaring right back at him.
“Nott,” Cedric said, glaring at Theodore, as he was almost touching my back.
“Diggory,” he said right back.
“Pansy, Blasie, and Lizzie,” Pansy said, making me giggle a little bit. “Now if you don’t mind. Leave.”
“Fine,” Harry said, holding his hand out. I looked at his hand, then at Cedric, then as the Slytherins. I gulped, but felt a hand come in contact with my hand. I looked to my left to see Theodore. I smiled lightly, and linked out fingers.
“I’ll be right there,” I told him. He looked at me with disbelief. “What?” he asked, looking completely shocked. I could see the gears shifting in his head, before he backed up slightly. “You’re friends? With the snakes?”
“Y–Yeah,” I said, as I watched Harry back up more. He looked totally hurt. His eye shifted from mine, to my hands, before his face morphed into anger.
“Are you dating the snake?” he asked, making Cedric look at him with shock, then at me. I shook my head.
“N–no! I promise,” I told him, taking a step forward. Harry took one back, looking like I just punched him in the gut.
“I don’t believe you,” he said, shaking his head. “You are just like your father, and mother.”
I gasped with anger, before going to attack him. Theodore and Pansy both noticed, and pulled me back. I felt tears prick my eyes.
“You're just like them,” he told me, before walking away from me, and out of the corridor.
I felt a tear roll down my cheek, making me quickly wipe it away. I felt Pansy pull me into a hug, and I let her. I looked over her Shoulder to see Cedric, making me look the other way. I was still holding onto Theo’s hand, and it just felt right.
I smiled at him, and noticed he was glaring at Cedric. I pulled away and went to walk forward, but Theodore pulled me into a bigger hug. I laughed lightly. I watched Cedric clench his hands. I quickly pulled away from Theo and turned to him.
