On one faithful day, the agent of a well known author that refers to himself as 'The Narrator' decides that enough is enough and wants to put a stop to her client locking himself up in his hell hole of a studio for over 2 years.

The Narrator is a well known story writer, and his previous works , 'The Adventure Line™: Goes On An Adventure' and 'The Adventure Line™: Meet The Bucket' has unintentionally caused a series surrounding “The Adventure Line™“ to start, which unfortunately means his fans are demanding a third book. Bad news, he has only barely started the awaited book and is currently experiencing writers block.

And of course, his agent noticed his struggles and is concerned for her client. What better solution is there other than paying her client a little visit to have a little chat with him?

Nothing could or will go wrong, and the agent made extra sure of it.

They sat on the surprisingly plush couch in the living come of The Narrator's big house, the sounds of them sipping their tea being the only thing breaking the awful tension filled silence.

The Narrator isn't a quitter, but he is super impatient. After a little while more of this torture, he finally but reluctantly gives in and breaks the silence.

"So, why have you decided to suddenly come see me out of the blue, Curator?" He said flatly. The Curator visiting was never a good sign, it never had been. Usually if she needed anything, she'd call instead of meeting him face to face.

"I'm glad that you're cutting to the chase, Narrator. I'm pretty sure you know that you have accidentally started a small series, which blew up pretty quickly within the past years." Curator started, and paused for a quick sip of her tea. The Narrator groaned at her words.

"You're going to lecture me about how I need to release a new book for the fans soon, ain't you?" The Narrator huffed in annoyance, but he knew that his agent is right.

His last work was released a little over two years ago. He knew darn well if he didn't continue the series and release a new book soon, his popularity will die down, and he really didn't want to lose the recognition he had been receiving and enjoying so much.

"I told you already, I already have ideas for the new book. I have the main plot and it's twists. I just need a little more time to fill in the storyline and the details." He huffed and sipped his tea.

The Curator sipped her tea again before gently setting it down onto the coffee table.

"That was only a minor part of what I wanted to talk about. Its been over two years, Harry. Your fans won't stick around forever, waiting for your next book."

The Narrator wanted to interject and retaliate , but was quickly silenced when the Curator raised her finger to tell him to listen, and whatever The Narrator had to say died on his tongue.

"But, I'm not here to rush the new book, Narrator. I really am not. I know how hard it is to find the inspiration and the right content to write. Believe me, I know you will, because I too write books as you do."

The Curator pause and drew in a short breath. The Narrator didn't like the sound of it. Nothing good could come out from an action like that.

"So, I've reached a decision that'll benefit you greatly. I think that it will better if you put off the book for the rest of the week. You are not to go into that studio, touch the topic of the book, or even think about it for the rest of the week." She finished.

"Are you hearing yourself Curator? As if it ain't bad enough that I can barely make any progress on the book, now you're cutting me off from it. And why?? I have nothing else to do other than work on the book! " He fumed and set his tea down with a sharp clink!. Sometimes, he just couldn't understand his agent.

"Harrison, when was the last time you looked into a mirror? You're so pale you look like a vampire, you seem to have put on a little more weight and your hair is absolutely mortifying! Do you even know what day it is today?" She said, her voice twisting with concern.

"Don't call me that! You know how I feel about that name! And today is..." His voice trailed off, not knowing what day it is.

Curator raised her eyebrows expectantly, waiting for The Narrator to finish his sentence or say something else.

After a while, The Narrator sighed in frustration and defeat.

"Fine. I'll take a look at my situation." He muttered quietly under his breath, but The Curator caught on and smiled.

"Thank you, Narrator. I really appreciate your cooperation. I do believe that doing this to you will do you good, and I know that after this you'll be in a way better shape, mentally and physically." She said softly with a confident smile.

The Narrator wanted to retort on that last statement, but he found himself unable to do so. No ideas of comebacks that are witty enough sprouted in his head, and he swallowed down whatever terrible response was going to spill from his mouth.

"What am I supposed to do for a week other than think about the book?" He grumbled quietly.

"Well, you could go for a walk around town or in the park, or you could go to the library and read more books. You never know what new ideas you could get." She said calmly, like she had done this millions of times before.

The Narrator quickly downed the rest of his tea before getting up with a huff. "Fine. You better not make me regret listening to you." he grumbled before leaving the room to freshen himself up.

The Curator grinned victoriously and mentally gave herself a nice pat in the back. Well done Curator, you've won against that stubborn man once again, like you've always have and always will. She's always had a knack to convince people and make them see reason, something not many can do.

End of Chapter notes:

Chapter 1 and 2 were originally a full chapter, but I decided to split it into 2 parts so it won't be too long

(Also, fun fact:
-The Narrator despises Geronimo Stilton books cuz The Curator often compares his work to theirs
- Each book is a year apart lol)
