Red? Blue? Red or blue?
Nagtatalo ang isipan ko kung ano ang gagamitin kong kulay para sa banner na ginagawa. Abala na kami sa paghahanda para sa Mass Induction. As usual, may isa na naman ako dito sa art room. May kanya-kanyang task kasi ang ibang miyembro, at napunta sa akin ang paggawa ng banner.
"Red." biglang may nagsalita mula sa likuran ko.
Nagulat akong napalingon. Napabuntong-hininga ako ng si Aldor lang pala ang nandun.
"Kung makapang-gulat ka naman. Kanina ka pa nandiyan?" binitawan ko ang paintbrush na hawak at hinarap ito.
"Mga 5 minutes na." sagot nito
"Then why didn't you say anything?"
"I did. But you didn't hear me the first time."
"Ganun ba? Sorry ha? Masyado akong focus sa ginagawa ko." I paused. "So, you think red is better?" tanong ko
"Yeah. It compliments with the background that you're gonna use. Besides, if you're gonna use blue, the banner will look like an abstract, and you don't want that for an events like this."
I took a glance at my work, and finally decided.
"You're right. So, red it is." Hinarap ko ulit ito, at tsaka ngumiti. "Thanks."
"For what?"
"If not for you, I would've still be stuck here."
"You're smart. You would've figure it out by yourself sooner or later."
"You flatter me too much. Maiba tayo. Ano nga pala ang sadya mo dito? May sasabihin ka?"
"Nothing. I just wanna give you this." Sabay abot ng isang maliit na bote.
Kinuha ko ito, at binasa ang label.
