Upstairs were Mine and Cedrics rooms, Fathers study, Mothers office, and a bar like room that was always stocked with kid friendly muggle drinks and snacks. The bar had a big sofa that made a 'c' shape close to the bookshelves that looked out a huge window.

We had a whole library up there!! It was stocked with all my favorite muggle books! Cedric and Fathers too of course, but I was the one who used it the most. Mother never ever went in there for books. Sometimes I wonder why Father married her. I mean he has a healthy love for books and mother would burn them all to the ground! Who would do that?! Even if they hated books!! Books are sacred things!

Cedric and I climbed the stairs, me in front and Ced behind me, as we heard the liquor cabinet open. I tried to look back but my brother shook his head and motioned for me to keep going up. I nodded back as he let out a quiet sigh

"Ced?" I whispered as we got to the top of the stairs and he started to walk to his door, which we painted Yellow with clouds.

"Yes, button?" He whispered as he turned to me.

"Can I be in your room with you?" I asked. I never liked it when father or mother drank, it always makes my heart roll. It's so hard to place what the feeling was but it never felt good.

"Yes of course," he motioned for me to follow him inside. That was the thing about my big brother, he always, well maybe not always, let me hang out with him. Even if he's hanging out with his Muggle friends during Christmas or Summer holiday. He's one of a kind, that Cedric Diggory.

His bedroom had the best theme of all of the ones in the house, besides mine of course, and the theme was...Cinderella!!! Kidding. Kidding. He didn't have a theme per say but if someone showed his friends his room they would definitely know it was his, if the pictures with him in them weren't up. His room just screamed 'Cedric Amos Diggory'.

His room had posters all over the walls. He had hung up a few pictures of him with his muggle friend as well as some of him and I. He had a bed set that was light brown, matching our hair.. Although I don't think that was on purpose. His walls were painted a light blue color. On the ceiling he had put up drawings I had drawn, if I had given them to him or not. He had a bookshelf on the opposite wall of the bed, that was backed into the corner, he had put books on there that he had gotten at bookstores around London. This is why he never really got books off the shelves in the 'library'. He had his own in his own room. At the foot of his bed he has a bench that his trunk sat on. He had four very comfortable chairs next to the window, all of them faced out. Everyone that ever came into Cedrics room knew that the one with the orange pillow is mine, and to never sit in it. It was positioned to accommodate my height and what I like to look at in his room and outside. The window had light green curtains that curved perfectly. He had the best view of all of the bedrooms.

Once I was fully in his room he shut the door. "What do you wanna do sis?"

"For once, I'm not sure..."

"Me neither." There was a long silence, this was how Cedric and I always were, quiet.

"I guess we can just read," he suggested as I plopped down in my seat. I watched him as he grabbed two books off his shelf and walked over to me. The book he handed me was one of his I haven't read yet. It was called 'The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn' written by Mark Twain. I've never read any of his books but Cedric says they are pretty good.

"You haven't read that one yet. I think you'll enjoy it," Ced smiled as he sat down in his own chair, the one right next to mine with the yellow pillow. It was the only other chair that had an owner. Cedric being Cedric had put one brown pillow each on the other two chairs so 'they didn't feel lonely' as he puts it..

"I hope so too," I smiled back. As I dove into the world Mark Twain wrote so beautifully I noticed quite a bit of things about this author. He mentions himself, I've never read a book that this happens in but I like it a lot. He also had a big vocabulary, one that I was proud to be reading. It didn't just use 'said' or 'say' or 'asked'. He used words that make this story a hundred times better.

I got a few chapters in before the door opened to reveal a girl about my age who was grinning madly. At first I didn't recognize her, but then it clicked. She was back! She had changed so much!! Why didn't I recognize her? The same color of deep red hair, same lovely green glasses. Her hair was just a bit longer than when I had seen her last.
