We were spinning very fast, like water down a drain. We never let go of each other. I didn't like how dizzy it made me feel. Spinning and spinning. I don't think the piece of toast I had early this morning was sitting very well in my stomach. Lily looked like she was going to barf as well.

Finally after what felt like forever, we landed on the ground somewhere. Cedric was looking at us with a smile on his face. Clearly he could see how green Lily was.

"Please puke in that bush," Cedric laughed as he pointed to a shrub to the left of him. Lily quickly pushed herself past him to the bush.

"Lily. Know, what? You can do this!" I cheered her on as Belle and mother arrived after us. Father followed after a minute or two.

"Is she ok?" Belle asked.

"Here. It's something to stop the feeling," Cedric laughed again as he passed Lily a cube wrapped in blue paper.

"Thanks," Lily mumbled as she slowly unwrapped it and put it in her mouth.

"Amos, you take Lily and Ella to get their wands and pets. I've got Cedric and Belle," mother ordered.

"This way girls!" Father ordered as he led us to a building that had the words 'Ollivanders Wand Shop' hanging above the door that led inside. Father opened the door for Lily and I as we walked inside the shop. There was a counter a bit of the way in and behind it were rows and rows of bookcases the shelfs messily cluttered with ... .Boxes? Little tiny long boxes.

"What is this place?" Lily asked me in a whisper.

"I have no bloody idea," I whispered back.

"What do ya reckon is in those boxes?"

"Probably wands. It is a wand shop," I stated matter-of-factly, we were still whispering.

"Oh hello there! Wands for the little ladies?" An old man with wrinkles that covered his whole face and a blob of white hair that sat on the top of his head asked.

"Yes. It's their first year at Hogwarts," father stated proudly.

"Let's start with the lady with red hair," the old man nodded to Lily.

"Lily Evans, sir," Lily smiled as she shook hands with the old man.

"Ms. Evans.. Yes this could work," the man scurried over to a shelf and picked a box up. "Try this one."

Lily picked up the wand and when she flicked it, it flew out of her hand.

"No...Not that one," the man scurried over to a different shelf and picked up a box once again.

Lily picked the wand out of the box and a bright white light came out from the end of it. Her eyes widened.

"Yes. That's it! A Sycamore wood, with a phoenix feather core, 11 ½ inches! Perfect!" the man exclaimed.

"Lovely Job lily!" I exclaimed as Lily held her wand at her side.

"Now your turn Ms..." the man asked as I walked up to the counter.

"Diggory. Who might you be?" I asked.

"Ms. Diggory. My name is Garrick Ollivander," Ollivander scurried to the shelf Lily's wand was on.

He picked a rather long wand that was deep brown. I gave it a wave as I had seen Mother do with her wand many times before. It was a second before a short burst of water shot out from the tip of the wand.

"Definitely not that one!" Ollivander exclaimed as he took the wand from my hands and put it back in its boxes before shuffling over to a shelf that had a fewer amount of wand boxes as all the others. After a minute or two he was back at the counter and set down the box with the lid off.
