And just like that, I'm alone again. The solitude a breeding ground for my swirling emotions. But unlike the last few months, they weren't taking over. They weren't negative or self-destructive. I felt positive, hopeful that I'd finally found someone to connect with on a higher level.
Looking at the time, a curious thought crossed my mind. It was late, and most of the town will be asleep by now. Slipping into my joggers, I pull on my sneakers and creep out of the room quietly.
