Ilaria was taken aback. She didn't understand why the girl meant by that. Her mind was getting dizzy. She didn't notice the girl moved away from her until a sound of the car horn was heard. Ilaria looked aside and saw her mother's car. She got back to reality. I'm doomed. Wait where did that bitch go?

Meanwhile Alhena was so pissed. She got off the car and slammed the door. Ilaria flinched at the sound. "What the hell are you doing here? Do you know how dangerous it is for you to be here alone? Why are you so stupid Ria?" Ilaria rolled her eyes. "I came here for fun but of course you had to ruin everything like you always do. Would you ever let me live peacefully?"

Alhena felt a pang of pain in her chest. However she still kept the stern look on her face. "We need to go right now. This area is dangerous." Ilaria didn't say anything. To be honest she wasn't interested. She just didn't care so she complied. Too much to have a nice Friday night.

When they reached home Ilaria was stopped by Alhena. "We need to talk." She rolled her eyes and turned to look at her as she was ready to go to her room. "What do you want?" She asked. Annoyance was evident in her voice. "Honey I know you can't tolerate me but please listen to me once. Why don't you understand? Someone is trying to kill you for god sake."

Ilaria was unbothered. She was tired of hearing the same thing over and over again. She wasn't listening to anything, Alhena was saying. "You done?" Alhena's words were cut off. She sighed, not knowing what she would do with her daughter.

"Looks like you are." Ilaria said as she saw Alhena was quiet. "Ria-" She again stopped her mother. "Enough with your bullshit. I can't take it anymore. Bye!" With that she made her to upstairs, not wanting to talk to that woman for one more second. Why does she hate her so much? I don't need your fake concern mom. If someone wants to kill me, let them. I don't give a fuck. That's what she wanted to say.

Next day...

Ilaria was going for shopping with her friends. She was already late. Tiffany was waiting for her outside and the bitch kept ringing the horn. "I'm coming whore. So anno-" she stopped midway as she saw a girl who was wearing full black clothes, sitting on the couch. She couldn't see her face because the stranger was back facing her. Who the fuck is this? She stared at her in confusion for a while.

Whatever I gotta go. As she was going to go Alhena came. "Stop right there." She stopped huffing in annoyance. "The heck you want?" Ilaria asked without looking at her mom. "I want you to meet someone." Ilaria frowned and turned back. "Who? Her?"

Alhena smiled with a nod. "Yes." The girl got up and stood infront of her. Ilaria's eyes widened as soon as she saw the stranger girl's face. "You?" Alhena was confused. "Huh? Am I missing something here?" Ignoring her, Ilaria went closer and glared at her. "Did you fucking stalk me? What are you doing here?"

The girl just smirked. It made Ilaria's blood boil. "I don't understand. Do you know each other?" Alhena asked. "Answer me." Ilaria talked over. The girl ignored Ilaria in the same way she ignored Alhena. Ilaria was so pissed. The hell? Instead she answered Alhena's question, about yesterday's meeting.

"Oh wow. Thank you so much Serena." Alhena thanked genuinely. "No worries Mrs. Conti." She said. Meanwhile Alhena was confused as fuck. "Can someone tell me what's all this about?" Alhena gave back her attention to Ilaria. "Meet Serena Walker, your new bodyguard." Ilaria stood there in disbelief. "Are you kidding? What the fuck do you mean my bodyguard?"

"Yes bodyguard. I hired her for your safety. You're really in danger honey. I don't want anything bad happen to you." Ilaria laughed. "So that's why you said you know me huh? You really set your mission to ruin my life mom."

Alhena sighed and decided to ignore the statement. She was really exhausted of Ilaria hating her. The girl's stubborn like her father. "Serena will stay with us and she'll go with you everywhere you'll go." What the hell? "Wh-"

The old woman cut her off. "I'm not done yet." She said sternly. She was done with being gentle because it only led Ilaria to insult and hurt her. "She's skilled. She's the best at what she does. So don't do anything funny. Be nice to her." Ilaria glanced at Serena who smirked, folding her arms. "We'll see about that mother."

Alhena facepalmed herself. "I swear Ria if you pull any funny stunt I'll cut off your pocket money." Ilaria gasped. "You're not serious. Are you?" She said still in shock because Alhena never threatened her like this. "Oh I'm dead serious." Just wow. "Take her with you to the shopping." JUST FREAKING FANTASTIC.

There was silence for a moment. "Anyway I've a meeting so I'm leaving and Serena welcome to the family." Serena smiled and thanked her. "Do tell me if she does anything to upset you." Alhena said that because before Serena, Ilaria made her every bodyguard resigning the job with her terrible pranks and bratty attitude. So she knew what her daughter could do.

Ilaria was so ready throw hands. "Don't worry Mrs. Conti, it's not easy to scare me that easily." Ilaria glared at her. I'll see how much of a strong woman you are. She was too angry to stand there. She stormed out of the place. Alhena again sighed at the rude behaviour. "I'm sorry on her behalf."

"Don't be. I've dealt with worse. Anyway I better get going before she leaves. See you later Mrs. Conti." With that Serena walked away leaving Alhena alone in the house.

Meanwhile Ilaria's face turned red in anger. She was scolding Serena in her mind. "Who does she think she think is? I'll see how you'll stay here." She mumbled under her breath getting inside the car. "What's wrong with you? You look like you're going to murder someone?"

"Start the stupid car." She ordered. "Woah ok. No need to be violent bitch." Tiffany rolled her eyes and stared the car. Ilaria smirked thinking now let's see how you can find me. She was sure that Serena won't find her as there's a lot of malls in US. So it won't be easy. She'll get lost for sure.

Sometimes later the car stopped as they arrived at the shopping mall. After parking the car Ilaria got off happily thinking she was free as bird but her smile dropped as she saw someone stood infront of her leaning against a car.
