Ilaria turned back only to see Serena standing while she leaned against the door with the same smirk which Ilaria always wanted to smack out of her face. Ilaria stared at her with wide eyes, cheeks puffed with foods. She looked funny to Serena but deep down she found it cute.

At that moment Ilaria choked on the food as she was about to yell. Serena was quick enough to get her water. Ilaria snatched the glass and drank the water while the elder patted her back. Ilaria looked at Serena as the bodyguard patted her back with care.

It made her remember about the time when no one was there to pat her back whenever she choked or had hiccups. She was always alone. Meanwhile Serena stopped what she was doing and noticed Ilaria was staring at her and also she stopped choking. The stare was different. It wasn't a glare or full of anger but there was something else, the sadness.

They both stared at each other until the sound of the big clock made them back to reality. Ilaria moved away from her as if Serena was zombie or something. Serena cleared her throat and looked at Ilaria to see her reaction. However Ilaria was looking at everywhere but her.

Serena took a breath and decided to break the tension. "I HaTe vEgGiEs." Ilaria glared at her and gritted her teeth. "You're so annoying. Do you know that? Stop teasing me." Serena chuckled and said, "I didn't say anything to you, did I? I was talking about a rich and little princess who hated veggies but ended up eating them like a hyena."

Ilaria gasped before saying, "Did you just call me hyena?" Serena furrowed her eyebrows and answered, "Are you a hyena?" Ilaria huffed and stomped her feet like a kid. Her nose and cheeks were red being so angry and embarrassed. She stormed out of the kitchen knowing she's gonna be more teased if she stayed there one more second.

Meanwhile Serena laughed seeing Ilaria's silliness. I refuse to believe she's 20. Such a bratty kid but cute. She covered her mouth as soon as she realised what she thought. Why the fuck did I call her cute? No no no. I can't go all soft on her. She thought. At that moment her phone rang.

Without much thought she picked up the phone knowing who called. Serena listened to everything the caller said, with a stoic face. Few minutes later the phone was hung up. The person who called her, was someone who worked for her but her boss didn't know.

Boss's men were useless so she hired this man who always helped her to find important information. A sudden wave of confusion and suspicion came over her as she was informed Alhena was seen with a woman in a shady area of New Zealand. What's she trying to do? Who was that woman? I need to know.

The next few days were something else. Ilaria tried her best pranks to annoy, humiliate and embarrass Serena. Like one morning Ilaria mixed too much chilli powder in her tea then putting pink hair dye in the place of shampoo. After that one day she ripped off the belt her shoes and so on. There were so many incidents but surprisingly Serena seemed to get out all of the schemes. Ilaria just couldn't get her. How's that even possible?

Well Serena was smart and she knew Ilaria would do anything to mess with her so Serena was prepared and extra careful. To be honest Serena had fun teasing her whenever Ilaria's all pranks failed like that day when she put the pink hair dye in the bathroom. Ilaria was too excited to see Serena's reaction. She was waiting patiently even though it was hard for her.

However she got paled when she saw Serena coming downstairs, looking the same. Her hair was still black. Before Ilaria could react a yell was heard. "AHHH WHY MY HAIR IS PINK?" Ilaria's eyes widened in shock. It was her cousin who visits her time to time. She looked at Serena who looked at her with that fucking smirk and winked at her. It made her blood boil. Ilaria's expression was so funny. Serena lives there to tease the hell out of her. Anger is always at the tip of her nose.
