Scaredy Dance

(Narrator POV)

"Looks like she worked out a little too much," Dicky comments, playing around with one of the skeleton decorations. "Scary, Huh?"

"Actually, you know what the scariest thing about Halloween is?" Dawn asks, trotting over to her other siblings and best friend.

"Pshh, Last year's quadcopus costume," Nicky remarks, knowing that it was an easy answer.

"That costume was horrific," Ashley points out, giving the quads a concerned look, as she remembers the terrifying costume.

"Eight tentacles but only one bag." Ricky recalls in dread, "What were we thinking?"

"I was gonna say the scariest thing about Halloween is that," Ashley corrects, pointing out her dad and Mr. Harper being twin witches

"Bubbling brew, Dark and oozy" Noah says with a cackle, "Who would like a trick or treat smoothe" Tom asks with the same witchy voice as Noah, He places a smoothie in front of all the children, who try it and instantly spit the disgusting drink out, questioning if it was even a drink. "Too much trick?"

"Uhhm, More like a squished dried out cockroach" Ashley tells the dads, with a grossed out, but calm face

"Tom," Anne suddenly sighs, walking up to Tom. "When we agreed to dress as a witch and wizard, I thought it was clear which one of us would be the witch." She said annoyed. Tom handed Dicky a dusty old broom. 

"Sorry, Anne, but if we have to have another cackle-off, BRING IT!" Tom said, saying the last words with a cracked witch sounding voice. Then, Anne started cackling, and Tom cackled back.

"Correction" Dawn said, "THAT'S the scariest thing about Halloween."

"And I thought it couldn't get any worse," Ashley added.

"Five Halloween smoothies, all treat, no trick." Josie commented as she put out Halloween colored smoothies in front of the kids.

"Thanks Josie," Ricky tells Josie.

"Nice lunch lady costume, very.... scary.." Ashley complimented with a chuckle.

"Oh, I'm not just any lunch lady," She replied, and struck a stylish pose, "I'm sloppy Josie."

"By the way, we're really psyched that you're DJ-ing our Halloween dance," Dawn informs Josie

"Me too!!" She replies in excitement. "And I was thinking that we would do a special "Slow dance" where we have a random spotlight on two people and they have to slow dance to a special part in 'Sure Thing' By Miguel

"Ooh that sounds fun!" Ashley tells Josie. 

"Just don't pick Dawn, Whatever you do, you don't want to see that train wreck" Lorelei warns Josie as she walks off

"Let's hope the dance lives up to the hype," Ricky comments.

"You know who has two thumbs and does live up to the hype?" Dicky asks the group. "This guy!" He points out, pointing at himself with his thumbs. "And all everyone's talking about is who he's taking to the dance"

"No one was ever talking about that, Dicky" Lorelei snaps, Rolling her eyes

"We're talking about it right now" Dicky responds, making a good comeback.

"You don't need a date to the dance," Nicky tells him

"Most people may not, but most people ain't Dicky. I have a reputation to uphold," Dicky replies.

"Your not the only one with two thumbs who's asking someone to the dance," Ricky remarks, giving Dicky confusion.

"Really? Who else is?"
