Alycia Grimes was a lot of things, but dumb wasn't one of them. Ever since that confused conversation with Glenn in the RV, she had noticed that her mom was acting differently. She knew it wasn't her place back in Atlanta to order answers from her, she was grieving her husband, so she simply kept her mouth shut after finally telling her mother what she thought about it.

She decided it was time to do something about it, finding out the truth. So she ducks into the Grimes tent and her eyes immediately fly to the table where prenatal vitamins and abortion pills sit. Lori Grimes just looks at her daughter with wide eyes.

- Alycia -

- Are you pregnant? - Alycia asks bluntly.

Lori took a deep breath in, with this being the first time she had actually told anyone - everyone that knew about her pregnancy, had either guessed it, or had been told by someone else. Lori wanted to make sure that she was the one to tell her daughter, and no one else.

- Yeah - She revealed, after a few seconds of silence between the two.

Alycia's eyes widened as soon as she heard the confirmation, and she couldn't believe what she had just been told. Her mom... Pregnant... She blinked multiple times, frozen in her spot from the confirmation that had come out of her mothers mouth.

She would be having another sibling.

- How long have you known? - She asked Lori.

- Not long. Tell me what you're thinking, I can see that pretty little head of yours thinking - She answered, her eyes tearing up that her daughter had taken this news so differently than the last time.

- I don't - I don't know what to say, I'm sorry - Alycia says. - Do you even know if it's Dad's?

Lori's heart drops to her stomach.

- It's your fathers - She answered her daughter, not wanting to talk any more on the subject. - All that matters, is that it's your fathers - Lori said again.

- Does he know? - Alycia asked, unsure if her mom had actually told Rick about Shane back at Atlanta. Lori nodded sadly, wiping away a small tear that had fallen from her eye, causing Alycia's heart to break one more time. - You can't blame yourself for that, mom. We all thought he died.

- Do you think I should keep it? - She asked.

- That's really unfair, mom - Alycia whispered.

- I know - Lori nodded at her statement, not keeping all of her tears from falling. - You know I love your father, right? You, Carl and your father mean the world to me, and this baby, maybe will too, I want you to remember that - She said.

- I know - Alycia said, nodding. She, of all people, knew how much her mother loved her family, it wasn't hard to see. Lori Grimes may be a crappy wife, but she was a wonderful mother.

- I thought maybe you'd be excited to be a big sister again, you were so happy when we told you about Carl - She confessed.

- I'm their big sister and I'll love them and take care of them just like I've done with Carl, but this world, Jesus, this world sucks. And sure, a child doesn't deserve to grow up in it but a baby could be the hope we all need. But I don't know mom, you - This is so hard - Alycia said.

- It's ok, hun. I'll talk to your dad - Lori admitted hugging her daughter. - I love you, Alycia. I'm so sorry, I suck at this, being a mom, I don't know what to do, I keep asking the wrong questions and putting you on a spot.

Alycia allowed her mother's embrace, it looked like she needed it.

- You're not a bad mom, you just had me really young, so it's different for us - Alycia whispered to her mother.
