When they all returned to their cell block, Carl Grimes was the first one to inform his father that Lori had saved Hershel's life.

Alycia leaned against the door frame, peering into the cell to take a look at the older man. He was cuffed to the bed as a safety precaution, yet it was an unnatural sight to bear. Alycia stood at the entrance of the cell with Glenn as they watched the others gather around Hershel, all afraid to leave his side. Alycia felt bad for Glenn, as before they left and Rick had told the Korean Boy to take Hershel out if he came back as a walker, not wanting his daughters to have to kill their own father.

Alycia tried to stick by his side, for that moment.

Alycia looked away as Rick made his way over to the bed, taking a minute to look at Hershel, the elderly man seemed to stir slightly, catching everyone's attention.

Alycia held Carl near her and a state of panic emerged in her, and everyone else in there, the group weren't sure if he was turning or not, so they kept their guard up. When he opened his eyes, blinking, it seemed that he was alive.

- Daddy? - Maggie mouthed, leaning closer to her father. Beth followed her.

Beth echoed her sister with a gleam, crouching down beside him to give him a hug.

Alycia couldn't help but smile along with them, glad that they hadn't lost another family member. Hershel was a family to all of them, and it would have been a huge dent in the group if he had passed away, and not just because he was a veterinarian.

Rick was quick to take the handcuffs out of the man, knowing that he was now ok, and Rick took his hand when Hershel held it out, causing everyone to smile.

He didn't need to say a word, they knew it.

His eyes spoke his words.

Thank you.

Glenn took a small look at Alycia and whispered in her ears.

- Carl escaped alone and went to get supplies, he had a fight with Lori - He said, Alycia huffed and nodded.

Alycia gave Glenn a small push for him to go after his little family, Maggie and Beth were in an embrace, with Glenn now, comforting the both of them.

Lori looked up, she was smiling from her place in the corner, a matching look to her son and daughter.

After a moment, Lori walked out of the cell and Rick looked at her. He motioned for Beth to take his spot in holding her father's hand. Then he went after Lori.

Alycia Grimes looked at Carl and nodded towards him. She could tell you that Carl was acting strange, and she knew that he had been it for a while, now. Ever since witnessing Shane come back as a walker, the boy had changed and she hated to admit it. She had changed too, but it was cruel for her to think that her little brother was going through that. He was acting reckless, and he thought that he didn't need any help from the group. Alycia knew he was growing up, but it is her baby brother. She couldn't let him act this reckless now he thought he could handle it.

Carl followed Alycia, as they stormed out of the cell block to get some privacy.

Carl stopped his tracks, sighing in annoyance.

- What, you're going to give me a lecture, too? - Carl snapped at her

Alycia was taken back for a momento, he was never rude to her. But she recomposed and scoffed at his rude tone, knowing that she wasn't his mother and she wasn't going to take this from him. He was about to leave and Alycia holded him softly, worried about hurting him.
