The sound of footsteps in her ears pulled Lisa away from her memories.

She lifted her eyelids as Jennie came out draped in a snow-white bathrobe. The belt around her waist was tied loosely, and her skin was pink and covered with small droplets of water.

The droplets on her neck dripped onto her collarbone, and then slowly slipped to the bathrobe opening and disappeared.

She looked good; tall and feminine, even without makeup. When she first came out of the shower, she was less glamorous than usual but seemed more innocent and charming. Lisa couldn't help it, and she watched her walk over.

Jennie went around to the other side of the bed, lifted the blanket, and got in. There was a cool breeze as the blanket fell, settling onto the bed.

The air was so quiet that they could hear each other's breathing. Jennie leaned back onto the headboard lazily and looked down at Lisa.

"Go to sleep."

Jennie didn't shy away from the fact that Lisa knew that she wouldn't sleep in the same bed with her.

Lisa propped her elbows on the pillow and pushed her body up a little. Leaning towards her, she shook her head and said softly, "I'm not sleepy yet."

"So?" Jennie raised her eyebrows and looked at Lisa's eyes. They were bloodshot, and Jennie wasn't fooled.

Perhaps it was the night that wore off Jennie's strong defense, or the intimacy that caused her to let her guard down to Lisa. Her face was pale, and her eyes were even lighter. Deeper still was the heavy fatigue. Like a traveler running through the night, losing her direction, obviously exhausted, but unable to stop.

I'll cut your nails for you?" Lisa inexplicably felt sad for her, and deliberately added a little playfulness in her tone.

Jennie was amused, as Lisa had hoped. She lifted the corners of her lips slightly, and then said softly, "Next time."

Lisa didn't insist, and said, "Okay."

Jennie never over-indulged in her desire. She was willing to ask her only once a night, but each time she would be completely satisfied. However, there had been several occasions where it was clearly hard to resist when Lisa had boldly touched her.

But Jennie had held her hand down tightly, sighing and pushing her away.

Lisa didn't know why. Was it because Jennie thought I didn't deserve to touch her?

Or was there another reason?

Or was it the reason that she didn't want to think about: Jennie had other lovers, and it wasn't her turn to address Jennie's needs.

Lisa's bright eyes darkened, and for a moment, she could not bring herself to coax her again.

In the next moment, Jennie continued, "Go to sleep." Her expression was indifferent.

Lisa laid down with her eyes still open, "Nini."

Jennie paused as she held onto the corner of the blanket. Her eyes fell on Lisa's face, "What's wrong?"

"Are..." Lisa gritted her teeth and spoke the doubt in her heart, "Are there any other lovers besides me?"

Jennie raised her eyebrows and asked lightly, "What do you think?"

Lisa anticipated in advance that she might answer this way, and said bluntly, "I don't think so."

She had only known Jennie for so long that she did not dare to say she knew her well. But Jennie was like her teacher, and regarding her career, her intentions were very clear.
