JOY 🐶 - part 3

Silence of the Night Sky was so intense that, even the passing wind was being heard.. The Mansion was immersed in darkness..

Dark.. that's how Raghav preferred his surrounding to be.. The non - luminous Moon rays were falling directly over the master bedroom through the French window, which usually remains shut, but today the drapes were left open, the see through glasses of it, reflected the moonlight inside which were partially opened too..

The occasional winds nullified the air conditioning effects to great extent.. Sweat beads started forming over Raghav's face, the cycles of Nightmare was playing yet again in his sub conscious mind, the blood curling screams, the begging pleads, rage of infuriated mob, and the blurred past, played on loop and tricked his mind, making him relive the faithful day which shattered his life..

Shortness of breath made him sigh heavily gasping for oxygen as his heart started to pump at uneven & successively increasing pase.. His nerves stiffed with the rush of blood turning his face warm, every symptoms of his body was making it evident of yet another onset of ANXIETY attack..

that's when the room got filled with woofing noise of the little creature.. Raghav frowned in sleep, the screams in his nightmare were fading off getting replaced by other noise of reality breaking his sub consciousness thought process..

Dogs have high sensitivity to noise and have hearing capacity of larger range, and they are also light sleepers.. the puppy was quick enough to notice the change in atmosphere and rushed to aid of Raghav.. it woofed continuously breaking the Nightmare spell and bring him out of the dream..

Raghav gasped and woke up.. After taking few moments of reality, he automatically moved to the side table to grab few pills, before he could have those the puppy got up on the bed somehow stepping on the half opened lower shelf and in efforts to reach to raghav it pushed away the pills down.. Raghav snapped at the puppy angrily and like usually, the little one payed no heed to it and sat on his lap comfortably trying to snuggle more, in a way it was trying to comfort Raghav as his heart was throbbing so high.. When raghav tried to move it away, the puppy latched on his hands licking it and tried to reach for his face too, to do the same.. Annoyed raghav walked out of room and the puppy chased him behind..

Raghav moved inside the room that was on the other far end of the corridor.. replica of his old home, he creased the pictures on the walls, the only happy memories.. he was left with.. The tears betrayed him, making him more vulnerable..

He sat down clutching one of the family picture and grieved on his loss, the puppy tried to reach for him with its hight barley reached to level of raghav's knees even in sitting position.. the puppy nuzzled closed to him and laid his head on the his lap..

Dogs are more emotionally intelligent creatures, they tend to feel every bit of their owners emotions as their own..

Raghav let his tears fall freely, he didn't tried to control them, instead he let the pain out crying silently, the bottled up emotions weighed too much to hold more.. The dog licked his face wiping the tears off and Raghav just patted it to calm it down, the puppy seemed equally agitated as he was..

Raghav- tumko bhi lagta hai mere wajah se Nana aur Arjun...

He couldn't complete his sentence, the words died in his throat and instead another tear escaped with a sob..

The puppy shook his head and snuggled to him, may be trying to hug him spreading his little paws.. though Raghav knew the puppy didn't understood anything, still it's gesture made him feel a kind of solace.. He never expressed his fears but today he did.. May be the comfort of "Not Being JUDGED" made him to do so..
