Raghav hugged Shivu even more tight, cooing her like he always does since he got to know her.. Every time she cried, every single tear escaping from her eyes, aches his heart..

RAGHAV POV (with flashback)

I still remember when I heard her crying for the very 1st time..

5yrs before..

She was so tiny when I 1st saw her, I was scared even to hold her, what if my rough hand are not safe enough for her delicate smooth sensitive cotton like skin.. Her face was pink red, her very 1st cry, my baby.. she cried for long enough to get me worried and grab doctor's collar.. The moment I holded her, I promised her, this would be the last cry, I wouldn't let any more tears come in her life.. To which Pallavi chuckled, and after 2 hours of nap after birth, hearing us angel cried again.. I cooed her to sleep.. I couldn't keep my promise even for a day..

Pallavi: raghav, you can protect her as much as you want, but you must understand, everything won't happen as planned, she will cry hours for day.. In fact for everything for initial months, that how she will communicate to us.. She will cry when she will get hungry, she will cry when she will wet her diapers, she will cry when she want to sleep, she will cry when she wants to wake up, she will cry when she will hurt herself number of times learning to walk, she will cry when she will do masti and fell down, she will cry when she will be ill or weak.. and all that doesn't mean, you will fail as father.. that when you will play important role, teaching her to walk again inspite of her failed attempts, encouraging her to face her fears, remember.. a bird doesn't learn to fly until it's pushed from nest..

Raghav: may be you are right, but..

Pallavi: you will do great.. trust me.. waise she will also cry when..

Raghav: when??

Pallavi: when she will get married and go with her prince..

Raghav: abhi mera beti ko aaye huwe kuch ghante nahi huwe aur tum usko merese durr karne ka baat kar raha hai..

Pallavi: aree.. mein toh bass facts bol rahi hu.. Someday she will get married right..

Raghav: haa toh ham Ghar jamai le aayega.. Itna bada Mansion kaiko hai 😌😌

and to this statement, the little angel in my arms smiled.. Smiled wide..

Pallavi: ye lo.. Yeh Baap beti pakka mujhe pareshaan karne waale hai..

and now to this I giggled and rocked angel and placed her next to pallavi..

Raghav: Don't cry Kanna, Nayynaa hai naa..

Shivu: Aaaai🥺

Raghav: haa toh ab, kya kya kia, sach sach batana..

Raghav wiped her tears and calmly asked her to tell what had actually happened, Shivu narrated entire incident from waking up to getting scolded by her Aai.. In between that when she mentioned how aaji scolded ajoba raghav giggled and cracked up entirely when she narrated tun tun aji incident and shivu took laugh seeing her Nayynaa enjoying her story 😌😌
