Spencer's Pov

A guard tells me i have a visitor. I wasn't sure who it would be since they took me to a room instead of the normal place. I thought my lawyer. Then my mom walked in. I immediately gave her a hug but with her schizophrenia she started freaking out because of all the guards.

Eventually she calmed down and asked what i was doing here i tell her "i'm facing murder charges mom" she looks at me shocked. I feel horrible about all of this. Then her nurse walks in but it's not the nurse i hired but she looks oddly familiar. I can't place it but she tells my mom it's time to go. That's when i realized. I start yelling "My mother is not going with you anywhere"

A guard puts me in handcuffs i try to fight it but i can't. He puts me back in my cell. I need to tell the team but i can't until i'm aloud out of my cell to make a call.

Y/n Pov

I'm stuck at home going over his case once again. Hotch hasn't been letting me work cases he thinks that i'm not in the right headspace. He might be right. I'm also waiting for Spencer's call. It's almost the time he gets out of his cell. I just wish we had a break in this case i need him back.

I hear my phone ring and immediately pick it up and answer and say "hey spence" he responds with "Lindsey Vaughn" i'm instantly confused "what? who's that?" i haven't been on the team as long as him. "It was a case we worked at long time ago Y/n she's dangerous and she's with my mom" i respond "what" while i'm grabbing my keys to leave. He says "She's posing as her nurse get the team and get over there" I grab my work phone and call Hotch lucky they're on a local case.

He picks up "hello?" i say "Hotch we got something, Linsey Vaughn you know who that is right?" he says "yes what about her?" i immediately say "Shes posing as Spencer's moms nurse we need to get over there now" he says "i'm on my way i'll meet you there"

I then remembered i'm still on the phone with Spencer "Spence i gotta go i'll let you know if something happens" i hang up because i'm rushing out of the door. I quickly get in my car and immediately rush to his apartment. When i arrive the team was waiting for me i grab a vest and get my gun out.

We walk up the stairs and Hotch gives Derek the okay to kick the door down. Derek kicks it down and we all rush it but no one is there. I say "Damn it we was too late" We search the apartment but find nothing so we all head back to the BAU to let Garcia do her magic.

Garcia ends up finding that Linsey has been visiting the one and only Cat Adams for weeks. Hotch wants me to talk to her because of the fact it will make her jealous. So thats exactly what i do.

I walk into the room where Cat waits for me and i sit down. "Hello Cat" i say she responds with "i heard my favorite FBI agent is in prison" i laugh and say "Yes and i think your the one who framed him." she immediately says "how could i do that when he put me here" i look at her and say "you may be here but you've been having visits with Linsey every week and i think you had her help sending him there"

She smirks "maybe i did." i look over at her "where's Spencer's mom?" she looks at me confused "what do you mean?" i say "Linsey was posing as her nurse now they are both gone" she responds "oh right that. You'll see her again don't worry. and to answer your question yes i framed Spencie but you'll get his mom back when i get to talk to him." I look at her then walk out knowing we can find her ourselfs her behavior told me what i needed to know.

I go and find hotch when i see him i say "Hotch she confessed but she doesn't know where Spencer's mom is but i think i do." We drive back to the BAU and i have Garcia look at places that Linsey has registered in her name and just as i guessed it she has a apartment right next to Spencer's. We all head over there and when we arrive we find Diana and arrest Linsey.
