"Yea, it look good right there"I said. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see some dude in my face with a paper and pen.
The top line said somethin bout that playground shawty had wanted so I signed off and the dude walked off.
I looked at the lobby of the rec center and was pleased with how thay shit looked. Next, I went in the first separate room which would Yanny and I office.
It was niggas in there paintin the room a light green color, shawty and I favorite color. I looked round "Iight, get 2 single chairs. A wooden desk with 3 small drawers on each side and a long one on the top. Anotha couch and imma get a big ass picture of me and my wife and daughter. U got that?"
"Yea nigga" Sam laughed "next room"
We went in the next room and figured this would be the place where Yanny had that teen talk thing. "Let shawty do this room" the next room was where the lil kids would be if they wasn't outside "just put baby shit" I shrugged.
Sam laughed just as David walked in "Yanny lookin for u "
"Where she at?"
"Outside watchin them do the playground. And get her an orange"
"Bitch I know how to take care of my girl" I pushed passes him "Fuck outta here"
"Aye, don't get mad cause she want me" he laughed from behind. I smiled and shook my head. When I gir outside, I seen Yanny standin in the grass with her hands on her belly. "Wassup mama, u good? "
She grabbed the orange from me "Thanks. And yea, put your hands here" she grabbed my hands and put them on her stomach.
Ain't nothin happen at first, then I felt a kick. Yanny smiled at me "Our baby kicked?" She nodded and kissed me "That's wassup" my hands roamed her belly slow.
I can admit, it ain't set in that I'm bouta be a dad yet. It don't feel like I'm bouta raise a lil girl and have to protect and provide for het yet.
I ain't a emotional ass nigga but I know when shawty give birth, its gon hit me. Hard.
I heard Ty's loud ass laugh and looked, watchin him walk closer to us with Sam next to him.
I dapped him up "Come on Yanny. I need u to choose what u want for that lil room" Sam grabbed her arm and pulled her off.
I looked at Ty "Wassup with u?"
He shrugged "Shit, this comin out nice though" he looked round "My football team gon be beast as fuck"
I laughed "Nigga, u can't even play so how u gon teach some kids to play?"
"Damn like that? Iight, we gon see" he nodded "U and Yanny set a date for the weddin yet?"
"Ain't a date really. Wheneva she find a dress, we gon go and get married"
"Who all goin?"
"Me, her and David"
He cleared his throat and ran his hands ova his face "Its cool if I come? "
Huh?
"Huh?"
He chuckled "I wanna come and support y'all. It don't matta if I trust or not. All that's ova with cause I see she make u happy. She bouta have my niece. She family now. That's what matta"
It was quite for awhile. I ain't know what to say honestly. The two most stubborn people I know is me and Ty.
So for him to say this, damn.
"U can come, u know that. But I ain't the one u needa be sayin that too"
"Say it to Yanny huh?" He laughed "Iight but I'm callin u if she start cryin"
I laughed "Fuck u nigga"
