One last breath

          Chapter one : "wake up"

I woke up from my slumber. My eyes felt heavy and stiff. I didn't want to get up. What was the point?
It had been 3 weeks since my little sister, Lucy, went missing. Mom was a mess. My little brother, Ian , thought she was still at summer camp.
Lucy is just 12 years old. I am 16, and Ian is 7.
I missed Lucy's black soft hair, blue eyes, her adorable outfits, and her jokes. Ian came into my room with his dark brown hair freshly cut so I could see his very pretty green eyes.
"Hey Ray?" Ian asked
"Yeah?"
"When is Lucy coming home?"
I felt a weight land on my chest. My eyes started to water. I didn't know, I didn't know anything. Ian always asked mom and she said soon, and I hoped she was right but I wasn't sure anymore.
"I-i go ask Mom, okay." I managed to get out.
"But why?" Ian responded
"Because."
"But WHY" Ian pushed.
"BECAUSE I SAID SO!" I yelled.
*sniff*
Ian ran away. Crap. It was only a matter of time before mom told me 'treat people how you want to be treated'.
"RAYLENE MARIE TYLER! GET OVER HERE NOW!" My Mom called.
"Coming." I replied
I got up and went down the purple, wary hallway and into the living room.
"Apologies now." My mom demanded.
"Okay, Ian I'm sorry…-"
"For what?" my mom interrupted.
"For yelling at you" I finished.
"Okay, go get ready for school." Mom said

I walked to my locker. My uniform, a white dress shirt, a tan vest, black tie, and black skirt looked nice and clean compared to my greasy black hair and the eye bags under my green eyes.
Suddenly my eyes  got covered. I gasped loudly.
"Guess who it is" a deep fake masculine voice said
"Hmm I wonder if it's Juan, Juan do you know my best friend Lily?" I asked
"Y-yeah?" The deep voice shaked
"Yeah, I'm planning to tell her crush Fri-"
"STOP" A squeaky voice sparked
"Hehe" I laughed under my breath.
"Don't do thaaat" she whined
"Don't cover the eyes of a girl whose sister is missing." I stated.
"I'm sorry…are you doing okay?"
"Yeah."
*Brrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiinnnnngggggggg*
The bell rang
"Oh I have German class." Lily squeaked and ran off
And me? I had art
I went through the very colorful corridor. I walked past a group of skippers.
I heard one of them whisper
"Look, that's the girl whose sister went missing."
A voice chuckled. Suddenly *bam*.
I was grabbed and slammed into a locker. I gasped as the air got knocked out of me.
"Do you think she knows how to fight?"A kid to my left asked. I didn't.
"Nah"A brown haired boy with brown eyes. His name is Liam. He was my tormenter.
"We should teach her a self defense lesson."He winked.
Then he pushed me. I stumbled back into a girl, and she shoved me to another. And another. And another. My head was dizzy. I hadn't drank water or eaten breakfast. I felt nauseous. It started to go black. Then I got shoved into Liam. Then it went black.
(wake up)
(Wake UP)
