Chapter two: Nightmares

I couldn't breathe. It was too hard. I awoke deep in a forest. I looked around, the ground was shaking.
Where am I?
"Welcome baaaaaack" that sweet, warm, scratchy voice haunted my head.
Lucy?
"Don't you remember the last three weeks? You. Can't. Talk," She giggled. "Ray Ray can't remember what happens" She sang
I opened my mouth. It hurt severely.
"TELL ME WHERE LUCY IS!" I shouted
"You talked. HeheHAHA!" She laughed
"W-what's so funny?"
"You get to wake up." She smiled.
Everything started to melt, a pitch black void appeared. I heard familiar voices.
"Ray?"
"RAYLENE WAKE UP!"
*sniff*
My eyes fluttered open. I was in the hallway. Lily was crying and was to my left, Juan was putting his fingers on my wrist on my right, and Gabe was over me on his knees. My chest ached. I lifted my head.
"NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO lay down!" Gabe yelled " The ambulance is on its way, okay?"
Ambulance? What did he mean? Did I... did I die? Did I get hurt?
"Why?" I asked
"Well you passed out-"
"And you hit your head"
"Lily please let me explain, you got shoved and kicked in the sides also. Lily was walking back because she forgot a book. And she found you on the ground." He explained
"And I told you to wake up, like...8 times. Then you started gasping and started yelling about 'where is Lucy'. And your legs started shaking so I freaked out and saw Juan, and led him to you." Lily added
"So I called Gabe and he had to explain to his teacher that someone was in trouble and out-ran her. He told me to check your pulse and it was weak so Lily called the ambulance. After a while of trying to wake you up you lost your pulse. You were dead for ten minutes." Juan said.
I was dead for ten minutes. I put my hand on my chest.
Gabe started again; it was a little unclear.
"...two minutes..."
How long was I here for?
"...I got desperate..."
Where is Lucy?
"...We got worr-..."
Everything started fading again.

My head was aching. My eyes opened. I was chin a hospital. Why was I in the hospital?
"Ray, thank God you're alive!" Lily gasped; again she was crying.
"What happened?" I asked
"You...You, 'went under' ." She sobbed(I thought it was cheesy and stupid looking to put 'died again')
A doctor walked in. She was describing what happened.
"So, Raylene you've been passing in and out for about three weeks." The doctor said
Three weeks!
