Part 22: Hatake Kakashi the babysitter

(This is almost like a filler episode haha! This part is set before the last part was set (when Sasuke whent to get the tree and Naruto was at the Hokage office) Well, have fun reading!)

Kakashi POV:

I get a letter asking me to babysit 5 kids...

ugh, why does it have to be me out of all people?

I walk to the front door until Iruka comes up to me.

''You leaving?'' He asks.

I nod.

''I need to babysit 5 kids...'' I say in a way that sounds like I'm being tortured.

Iruka chuckles.

''Naruto and Sasuke's kids? They're nice, you'll survive!'' Iruka says and plants a quick peck on my cheek.

I feel a little blush come across my covered cheek.

I turn around.

''Bye.'' I say and wave.

Iruka chuckles and waves as well.

''Have fun~!'' He says.

I go outside and close the door behind me and start walking to the Uchimaki house.

I am met by Sasuke walking out of it.

''Oh, hello, Kakashi.'' Sasuke says.

I smile and wave.

''I'm glad you could come and babysit for a while. I wouldn't think I could let Menma take care of 4 babies, even though he wants to.'' Sasuke says.

I chuckle.

He has gotten more polite and kind when being in Naruto's company.

I smile under my mask.

''I'm glad to be of service.'' I say and try to keep the sarcasm out of my tone.

Then the door opens, revealing Menma.

''Kakashi-sensei! You came! Come on in!'' Menma says and gestures for me to go in.

I say goodbye to Sasuke and walk inside the house.

''The babies are asleep for now, dad thought he could at least be nice to you and let you be with me before having 4 other!'' Menma explains and goes into the living room, holding up...

''My book!'' I blurt out.

He looks at me and chuckles nervously.

He stands up, the book still in his hands and he hands it over.

''S-Sorry, I forgot to give it back and I have already re-read it like, 3 times...'' Menma says.

I take the book.

''Naruto and Sasuke doesn't know, do they?'' I ask.

He chuckles nervously.

''Mama knows...but dad doesn't.'' He says.

I sigh in relief.

''At least, the student that have read all the books know about it so that's good.'' I say.

''By the way...'' Menma start and goes into a room.

''I couldn't ask anyone else about it because I would end up in trouble sooo I asked Hinata-san if she could buy me this!''
