"Careful, I scratch and bite." Her face inches from his, patiently waiting for him to give in.
But, he doesn't give in, not yet. He takes one step closer and bends down to whisper in her ear, "you'll beg and crawl too.... I promise."

As she lies in a hospital bed being tended to by lovely, competent nurses and cold, idiotic doctors, Jisoo half expects RM to walk through the door. But maybe that's just the drugs. Because she is on a veritable cocktail of medication for the pain. And because RM is gone.
She at least got a last kiss. She at least got to free him. She got to do the thing he wouldn't. Couldn't.
Arrest was never going to be enough. She knew that when she started listening to Jacob's calls. Because Henry is very, very useful and she asked him to put traces on all Jacob's lines. For Interpol, not for RM. Or so she was able to convince him. Or at least he ignored the way she was clearly lying when she said that, because they had a common goal to get Jacob out of the way. And similarly to the way he'd said 'no body no crime', if he never heard her plan explicitly, he could at least deny any knowledge of it if someone had asked. If his boss asked.
Jacob was planning to kill RM. He'd been planning to do it that night he'd shown up at RM's villa and she'd hidden in the bathroom. He's stupid enough to say that all out loud even months later. Like he was bragging about his botched attempt. And he'd been plotting to ambush RM and Jungkook at an upcoming meeting she knew RM thought was legitimate. It was with the Bianchis. So she knew Jacob intended to form an alliance there, which RM would never approve of or want.
RM hadn't known the Bianchis were on the invite. If he'd known, he wouldn't have accepted.
She feels a little badly for how she'd had to use Henry. She'd at least told him about the plan. She'd given him the option to do it or to not. And he, because he's loyal to not only RM but also her, had agreed. He'd promised he could take it. It still made her sick to see him that way. Sick and very fucking angry.
She had not expected RM to show up actually. She'd truly expected to never see him again. But Angelo is apparently very loyal, too. RM will be pleased with that. He'd told her he was unsure if he could trust the man.
She, herself, was just terrified that Jacob would shoot first. Fortunately for them all, he's not even bright enough to have killed RM when he had the chance. The flip side of that is that he fucking shot her. Which is a bit inconvenient.
Henry has resigned. Effective immediately. 'Rattled by the events,' she's told. Which is a load of crap and she does her best not to smile. RM must not be too upset with him if he's still going wherever they're going. Wherever they've gone. She's going to miss him. Henry.
She is lying in this stupid hospital bed even though she's sure she's able to go home. Except she doesn't really have a home. Well, she does have two residences. One in South Korea, one here but She just can't go to any of them. Because Jacob certainly shared her address with the people he'd tabbed to keep her in line, and - knowing what she knows now - likely the Bianchis, too. And it has been all over the news that he was killed by an Interpol agent. Her name is attached. In this time if she goes to Korea then not only her but Jennie's life will also be at stake. And that would be a lot worse than a bullet to the arm, surely.
