Chapter 9

Cj's Pov

Luke is next to me eating some cookies while I'm watching tv. I notice Luke eating with all the patience in the world like if nothing bothered him at all. I get a text message from my brother asking if anything is up and I said no. I bite my lip hesitating on whether to tell Luke or not about it.

" babe? "

I should really tell him..

" baby. "

No I shouldn't because then I'll put him in danger.

" Cj! "

I shake my head and look at Luke. " huh "

" You zoned out so hard babe, is everything okay? " He asked with such a worried look.

" Yeah just a lot on my mind... " I say following a sigh. I look at the time and notice it is almost 5 in the morning. I rest my head on Luke's shoulder and drift to sleep.

Luke's POV

I turn my head to ask Cj a question and notice her sleeping on my shoulder. I smile and get up slowly to not disturb her. I pick her up bridal style and take her to her room to lay her on her bed. I kiss her forehead and leave the house.

I arrive at my house and see Luther getting his stuff in a hurry.

"What are you doing?" I ask in confusion.

"The boss knows that the Hylands are onto us." Luther answered. The Hylands? Isn't that Cj's last name?

"Okay but that has nothing to do with me" I say sitting down turning on the tv. I don't think Cj has anything to do with this. Her parents are on a business trip..

"Yes it does. You know what you did. Don't act stupid" He hissed. Pissy much?

"Okay sure whatever. I GUESS I'll go with you." I say rolling my eyes. I go up to my room and get the bag I keep in my closet. Making my way to the car I'm just thinking about the name Hyland.

I get off the car and enter the tall building. I greet the receptionist with a nod and enter the elevator. Luther looks at me and chuckles with a smirk. I narrow my eyes at him look the other way. We arrive at the 10th floor and step out of the elevator. Nervous, I lightly bite my lip ring while my heart starts to race. I feel myself getting hot and my palms starting to sweat. Luther opens the door and I let out a deep sigh. I enter the room quietly and sit down.

"Long time no see Luke" said Dr.Platinum. I just nod and look up at him.

"You know I've been trying to distance myself from this" I say confidently.

"Why? You're one of the best people I have" He says with a smile.

"Because I don't want to hurt anyone" I say a little bit more annoyed.

"As long as you keep a low profile you won't hurt anyone, now, will you stay or leave?" He asks raising one eyebrow.

"I guess I'll stay.." I say quietly.

"Excellent! Now time to discuss the plan. We have to get both Dr.Hylands that way they can tell us how to make more of the vaccine " Mr.Blade says walking to his desk.

"Why do you want a stupid vaccine? Just rob a hospital" Luther laughs.

"Because little Luther that vaccine has a mind controlling substance that I need" Mr.Blade says.

"Mind controlling? I thought that vaccine helped people?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"No it doesn't, they just needed the media to not freak out or anything that way people can stay in the calm" Mr.Blade explained. Both Luther and I nod, but I still have a bit of hesitation following his orders.

Cj's POV

I wake up in my bed?? I look around the room and see it empty. The clocks reads 9:30am. I look on my phone and see that it's Saturday. I get up from my bed and called out Jason.

No answer.

I call his name out again but no answer. I hop off my bed to look for Jason downstairs but no Jason is in sight. I call Luke to invite him over but no answer. Since no one is answering I might as well have some me time.

I turn on the water and get the bath bomb and candles out. Lighting each candle I take a smell and smile at the delightful scent the candles have. I put on the album Morning After then strip down my clothes and step in the tub. I let the bath bomb dissolve and rest my head back.

I hear a noise downstairs but I decide to ignoring thinking it was my brother. I heard a 'hello' and sat up from the tub pausing my music.

"Who's there?" I yell out, but no answer.

"I said, who is there?!" I yell once again. No answer. I huff and get out from the tub and grabbed a towel to wrap it around myself. I take a step out and peek downstairs and see nobody.

"Hey gorgeous"

I jump and turn around clenching the towel so it won't fall. I look up and see that its Luther.

"Um what are you doing in my house?" I ask.

"I wanted to stop by and say hey" He smiled.

"Okay well you did so now go away please" I say with annoyance.

"Let's hang out orr have a little session" He said smirking while checking me out. oops i forgot i was only in a towel...

"Um no, just get out please , I just want time to myself" I say turning around making my way to my bathroom.

"I want you though, and badly" he said grabbing my hips and taking me towards him. He held me close to the point where our lips are close to touch. My hands travel down his chest to his groin area. He smirks thinking that I am going to pleasure him. I grab his groin with force and squeeze it, making him squeeze his eyes shut and yelp.

"I said leave, so you are going to leave" I say with a smile.

"You're feisty, I like that" He manages to say. I squeeze a bit harder.

"Okay okay, I'll leave" He says. I let go and he lets out a big sigh. He making his way out the door but looks at me and smirks. I roll my eyes and my finally leaves.

I swear I don't know what I'm going to do with him.
