'Either way it's all gonna play out' - Chapter 2

|The Slowest Sting|

"You wish"

"Alright I think that's about it for today, remember to have the assignment done by Monday" The teacher said.

Sadie had moved to her dorm room exactly one month ago, and in that time a surprisingly small amount of things had happened.

Surprisingly, she expected you to be pestering her every day, to bombard her with flirtatious comments.

And don't get her wrong, you have done that, but you did know what personal space meant, if Sadie was in her room and you didn't need her for anything, you just sort of left her alone.

But Sadie almost never went in her room, really only using it to sleep, so if when she was doing papers she was in the area you shared, then it was free game.

School had been hard for her, it wasn't that she wasn't smart, but she could get confused pretty easily if there was a lot of moving parts.

That was probably one of the biggest differences between you and her.

When Sadie was barely able to add one number and subtract another at the same time, you were able to do so much so easily.

Just a week ago she saw you in the kitchen, cooking, doing your homework while listening to music and talking to a friend.

You didn't fuck anything up either, the food looked great, though Sadie was too prideful to ask for some, and you got an A on the paper.

That was also what really annoyed her about you.

You just made it look easy, it made her feel even dumber than she already thought she was, and she'd never ask for help.

But hearing the teacher say that the assignment was due on Monday, when she'd forgotten about, filled her with dread.

It wasn't a quick assignment either, the teacher gave it to her on the first week, so she knew she'd have to pull an all nighter.

Unless...she could ask you for help, knowing you you could get it done in a night...no, no because she knew what would happen.

You'd get a dumb grin on your face and demand to be treated like a king, and Sadie hardly wanted to be around you.

She hated that dumb grin.

She hated that dumb grin

The door to the dorm opened, as she could hear movements coming from your room, she'd seen what was in there once before.

It was a lot, a lot of distractions, Rubik's cubes and darts, with a dart board just over the door to enter.

She sighed and went into her room, taking out the assignment and staring at it for a moment, she read the first line and sighed.
