'It must be fate, I found a place for us' - Chapter 5

|The Slowest Sting|

"Little weird, but who am I to kink shame"

Sadie woke up, normally she didn't like doing that, as it meant another day of monotonous classes.

But at least today she woke up knowing something would be different, although she wasn't sure she wanted that.

Sadie really didn't want to see you today, even though today was literally the day before thanksgiving, and the day the two of you would drive down to your parents.

Sadie had to suck it up and walk out into the kitchen, when she saw you packing a few essentials.

"Ah, morning you sleepyhead, we don't have long till we've gotta leave" You said, closing your suitcase.

"Uh...listen I'm not so sure its such a great idea...I mean my parents can get rude sometimes and I don't wanna...like...make you go through that" Sadie went red, at just the thought of talking to you.

"...I feel like there's something you're not telling me" You inquired.

"No I'm just...concerned for you is all" Sadie tried to rationalise.

"...Ok well now I know somethings wrong...is it because of the kiss last night?" You asked nonchalantly.

Sadie went beet red as she struggled to even think after you mentioned your kiss so casually, as she tried to regain her composure.

"Ah...so it is" You nodded. "As far as I'm concerned, it never happened...if that'll make you feel better"

Sadie wasn't sure of that, she wasn't sure if that would make her feel better, just ignoring it ever happened, and all that went into it.

But for now it was better for her to just push it aside, and slowly nod. It did sting you a little bit knowing she didn't even want to talk about it, but you also pushed it aside.

"Alright, well I'll be in the car, its a long ride and driver picks the music, so you might wanna pack some headphones" You half joked, walking off.

Sadie was left on her own again, putting her head in her hands for a moment as she had to think of some way of surviving this trip with her parents.

The worst part of it was you were funny, reasonably attractive and a very good actor, to act like you cared about her, and for that her worse fears had come true.

She knew something that would make the foreseeable future a lot different and much, much more difficult.

She knew her parents would love you.

She knew her parents would love you
