'No, It don't hurt when it rains now' - Chapter 4

|The Slowest Sting|

"Are you jealous?"

Both you and Sadie knew your life didn't revolve around you, in fact it was pretty fun to think of the other lives people are leading.

It was Friday, the day before you and Sadie would leave for her parents house to convince them you were dating.

You had math class just before that though, taught by Ms Calle, and you'd noticed a few odd things going on.

One of which was that you were one of the first people to enter, and saw her talking to a teacher and smiling, which she rarely ever did.

That new teacher looked a lot like you for some reason, but like at least a couple years older, definitely odd.

Then you noticed Ms Calle was smiling and happy through her lesson, she even had her hair done differently.

You decided to bring this up with Sadie but she brushed it off as she was probably just more of a lover of winter than summer.

Sadie was nervous, nervous for you of all people to meet her parents, but at least you could sell that you were interested in her.

This was another thing she had a problem with, you were naturally flirty so she couldn't tell if you just flirted with her to annoy her or not.

Because it seemed like it was one moment to the next of you flirting with her, but then you'd never specifically ask her out.

It was like whiplash for her, she wasn't used to people wanting to even be around her, she was aware of her icy personality.

She was sort of in her own head as she got back to the dorm, opening it to hear you talking on the phone.

"Yeah...yeah alright...I know...aww come on you wouldn't do that to me" You said to the phone.

Sadie recognised the tone, it was the same tone you used on her, that same flirty tone that had been making her mind race.

You hung up the phone as you got up and started making food for yourself, looking at her as you passed her.

"What's up little lady?" You greeted, in an even better mood than before.

"Who was that?" Sadie asked, sounding a little jealous when she did so.

"Uh...just Olivia...why?" You asked as you dug through the fridge.

"Oh...just...curious" Sadie said, going back to her room.

Sadie knew Olivia had a massive crush on you, practically everyone knew, it wasn't like she was super well at hiding it.

Olivia didn't know you and Sadie were fake dating, she could be a little oblivious to things like that, but she really was a nice girl and if anything deserved you more than Sadie did.

That was a big question as well, what would you really do after you came back from her parents house, you'd be staying there for a while, school was out after all.

Sadie took out her phone to call Olivia, but she didn't answer, she must of had some after school club or something. Maybe it was for the best,  Sadie didn't really know what she was going to say.

There was a knock at Sadie's door, and it slowly opened and Y/N stuck his head around the corner as Sadie sat in bed.
