A Dangerous Job

Chapter 2- 'Big Boss'

Shocked by the sight of the man in front of you, you take a step back nearly tripping over your own feet as you do. Amusement is visible on his face when he sees the fear in your eyes but he doesn't speak, you take another step back when he gets up from his chair but he doesn't move towards you. Instead he walks over at the big table to your right to grab a chair and places it in front of his desk, he points at it while looking at you and says 'sit down'. You feel your body shaking and swallow hard while having your eyes on him and watching his every move. The memories of two nights ago come back, this was the man who threatened to kill you and you want to be as far away from this man as you can. You decide to walk backwards, but his eyes are locked on yours too, i'm sorry you say with a tremble in your voice, i shouldn't have come here this must be a mistake. He has walked back  and leans on both hands who are placed on his desk while looking at you, 'i said sit down' he says with a deep voice while his eyes have darkened and pierce through you. Your thoughts are all over the place, what will he do to me this time? Should i listen to what he says? Should i run? What does he want from me? You choose to turn around and go straight for the door, when you touch the handle and try to open it,  you notice it won't budge. Did that bitch lock the door behind her? You try with all your strength to open it but to no avail, the door is locked from the outside and there is no way for you to escape. With your back turned, you did not notice the man walking towards you and who is now standing behind you. Once you turn around, you yelp, his face inches from yours and you fall back against the door with a thud, your back glued to the door and frozen in fear you look at him. Y/N, i told you to sit your ass down and i'm not planning to ask you again he says. With both hands you squeeze your purse that you're holding in front of you, you look at him but his face is expressionless, the only thing you notice are those dark eyes that once again look like they can look straight in to your soul. What do you want from me you whisper, his eyes narrow and he moves closer, placing his hand above your head on the wooden door as he leans in. I have already told you that, i want you to sit your ass down NOW! You're startled by the sudden raise of his voice, tears form in your eyes but you start walking towards the chair he placed there for you. You notice how your heart is pounding when you sit down, you try to sit as still as you can but your hands are shaking heavily. Your body shivers when you feel him passing you, making his way back to his chair and sits down. He sighs and leans back, you didn't tell anyone what you saw the other night did you? No... no sir i didn't i swear i didn't say anything to anyone not even my friends. Good he says, and he starts typing on his computer not saying anything else. You're puzzled as to why he's typing but you can't see his screen and you're to afraid to say anything to him. After a few minutes he looks at you and smirks, you were easy to find Y/N he says, not sure what he means by that you ask him, so? What's going to happen to me? He smirks again, you're going to work for me Y/N, it appears you don't have much of a choice. What is that supposed to mean you ask. You send out your resume to several of my clubs, and even to the office, the address on it matched the building you said you live in and since not many Koreans have a name like yours, it was easy to put two and two together. You stare at him and dislike how cocky he is, it annoys you even. So now you're going to force me to work for you? Well from the amount of resumes we received i'm guessing you really need a job, and what better way to keep an eye on you when i have you right under my eyes, he smirks again. What if i don't want to work for you? I didn't ask if you wanted to he says with his eyes focused on the computer screen again, i told you you will. He darts his eyes back to you, you owe me remember, just consider yourself lucky that you're getting paid for it. You sigh, realizing he doesn't leave you any options and yet you have the courage to say, what if i do refuse? His eyes narrow again, that would be a silly thing to do Y/N, as i said you were easy to find and it's even easier to make you disappear so you might want to think about what you just said very, and i mean VERY well. You bend over and place your head in your hands, how the fuck did i end up in this mess you think to yourself, you take a deep breath and sit back up. So if i refuse you're going to kill me, is that what you're saying? He leans back in his chair, if you refuse Y/N i might indeed do just that, i don't like it when people don't hold their end of a deal, and since you owe me, that's a deal to me. Not a deal i asked for you say, he smirks again, that's usually the case when you owe someone he says sarcastically. So now what, i'm going to be working for you since i have no choice, and then do what exactly? You're going to be my personal assistent, the desk outside of the office is going to be yours, from now on you will be answering the phone for me, plan my meetings and translate things for me when i ask you to. Anything you see or hear in this office building is private, you are not allowed to speak about what you see or hear with anyone, understood? You nod your head. I can't hear you he says, you look at him and grind your teeth, yes sir i understand. Seeing you are annoyed smirks again, good, i expect you to be here on Monday 8am and when i say 8am, i mean 8am. Understood you say, i will be here on time. He nods at you and opens the drawer of his desk, he takes out a cigarette and a key. He moves it towards you, key to the door he says while he lights up his cigarette. He leans back and looks at you, he points to the door and says, well... off you go. You grab the key off the desk and get up and turn around to walk away, 8am Y/N you hear him say, don't be late.
