A Dangerous Job

Chapter 14- Money

Panic sets in as you hear that voice again, you want to scream at your friend to get the hell out of there but the words won't come out, you try to scream her name but you are frozen the phone stuck to your ear as you look around you in panic. It isn't until you hear your friends voice... 'Y/N you there? Y/N... Hello?? 

With your phone stuck to your ear you look out the window, you see the seven men standing over at the tree, unbothered, smiles on their faces and not a care in the world so it seems. It's like it's a daily thing, a daily routine if you will, we save the boss, kill a few people and go back home after for dinner and a movie. 

You hear Hyo-Ri her dad answer to the man, my  daughter is not well, who are you and what do you want from my daughter? 

Your breathing becomes heavy and your friend on the other end notices, 'Y/N what's going on? Y/N answer me!' You snap back to reality, your heart still pounding in your chest and your hands are shaking. You order yourself to take a deep breath before you answer your friend, Hyo-Ri you whisper, get out of the house if you can, do not let that man in and don't let him know that you are on the phone with me. Who is he your friends whispers back. That's the asshole that caused you to get hurt in the first place you say as you rush over to the big windows that looks out to the backyard. The seven men still standing there, talking though you can't hear their conversation. They then simultaneously turn around when you bang on one of the windows to get their attention. Their smiles fade quickly when they see you standing in the window with a worried look on your face and the phone locked on your ear, gesturing them to come inside. You look over at Yoongi, his eyes are dark he might still be hurt but he's ready for war, and the look in his eyes tell you he already knows who this is about. 

Jin is the first to enter and he mouths the words Han Gyeol? You hear your friend breath heavy on the other end of the phone, whatever you do Hyo-Ri do not hang up you whisper shout to her, also loud enough so Jin can hear that it's about your friend. The other men enter too, question marks in their eyes as they look over at Jin. But not Yoongi, Yoongi looks at the phone in your hand and says put it on speaker phone, where is this motherfucker at? Your hands still shaking as you try to do as Yoongi demands. I moved to the corner of my bedroom Hyo-Ri whispers, Y/N i'm scared what do i do? Yoongi then walks over and grabs the phone from you, listen closely he says don't be scared i got people on the way to you he says as he gestures to his men to move pointing towards the massive front door. The men immediately understand the assignment and rush outside, within a few seconds you hear car doors slam and screeching tires that disappear in to the distance. You have to be brave for me Hyo-Ri Yoongi then says, i need you to go out to see him, keep him busy until my men arrive, take the phone with you but make sure to hide it, it's very important that we also hear what he wants. But what if he'll hurt me Hyo-Ri whispers, you can hear the fear in her voice and you can tell that she's about to cry. He will not hurt you Yoongi then says, though the way he says it is not as convincing as you hoped it would be. You lock eyes with him once more, how do you know he won't hurt her you say as quietly as you can. I don't Yoongi then whispers back, but right now we need to hope for the best and keep this asshole busy until the others arrive and end him once and for all. 

Hyo-Ri let's out a deep sigh, he's still talking to dad but i can't hear what they are saying, do you really need me to go out there? I don't want my dad to get hurt either, please tell me this isn't happening to me again. We need to know what he wants from you Yoongi says, he might just be bluffing but we need to keep him busy, please Hyo-Ri go out there and talk to him. You can hear your friend take a couple of deep breaths before she speaks again, fine i'll go but i need to put my phone in my back pocket, i have no where else to hide it without it being obvious that i'm hiding something. You then hear some rustling sounds followed by your friends voice asking if you can still hear her. We hear you just fine Yoongi says and another sigh escapes your friend, i'm going to kill you both for this she says and then proceeds to open the door, you recognize the squeaking sound of Hyo-Ri her bedroom door, mentally following her every step through the house until she reaches the front door and you hear the familiar voice again of the man you came to hate with a passion. 'Well hello there young lady' you hear him say. Dad who is this your friend then asks and you hear Hyo-Ri's father sigh. This man can help us with our finances my dear, i have agreed for you to stay with him for a while, he promised to take good care of you. We can't afford to take you to a hospital right now and this nice man offered to make sure you get the care you need, me and your mom are getting older too sweetheart, it would be nice for us to have some peace too. So you are shipping me off with the first man that offers to take care of me? Selling me like i'm some sort of cattle? Your friend says.
