NOBODY'S POV

After grace was finished, everyone began to eat, you looked around for the salt and pepper seeing it on Nick's side of the table, you smiled slightly.

"Hey Nick, can you pass the salt and pepper?" You said tilting your head a bit, Nick didn't answer showing he was partly zoned out, you sat there for a minute before speaking again. "..Nick??" you said with confusion and worry in your voice.

Jack hit Nicks shoulder snapping him out of his state, "Dude. pass the salt and pepper." he slightly snarled, Nick perked up grabbing them both. "Oh shit- sorry [NAME]" he said passing it down.

"It's no issue Nick, zoning out happens sometimes." You spoke gently, Nick blushed slightly now looking away taking a sip from his drink.

After a couple minutes, everyone was halfway done with their food when David spoke up. "So [NAME] we've all been discussing for a couple months about you..We know you only come around for myth hunting but we've decided that you are gonna be apart of the family."

You paused and gave a nervous chuckle, Gleti who sat next to David put her hands together in glee. "Wouldn't it be so amazing [NAME] dear?, I could help you with your room, We could paint or decorate it how you want! and you can go to my shows-"

Before Gleti could continue to happily rant, you cut her off mid sentence, "Gleti, no- I mean..erm..." you stood up from your seat as everyone's expressions now darkened staring you down, Gleti froze now doing the same, a nasty frown coming on her face.

You sighed shakily giving a nervous laugh "Look. I like coming over and...doing this..but I have a life- I don't accept your offer David I'm..I'm sorry." David didnt say a word now putting his head down shaking it.

"I understand [NAME], but..I don't remember asking you." He said looking back up, his eyes peering out you through the mask.

Fear built up inside of you slightly as you stepped back. "Wait..what-" "Merle. grab him." David responded, you turned to Merle who began to slowly stand, you looking around before immediately turning around rushing off and into a hallway.

Your heart began to beat faster as you heard everyone else stand up and chase after you.

As you made your way behind a wall by the stairs, you tried to catch your breath hearing shuffling coming from the other side of the wall you took cover behind you sighed before hearing something.

Breathing.

And it wasn't yours.

Quickly turning your head, Jack was beside you. Screaming, you went to run again but yelped upon the brunette pulling you in by your waist.

He sighed lovingly at your scent groaning annoyance from your squirming and thrashing around, without any hope left of that helping get away from his grasp, you used your free arm to elbow him in the nose.

"OW! FUCK!" He stammered letting you go holding his now bruised and bleeding nose in pain watching you run off up the steps, he scowled wiping his nose causing the blood to smear across his lip now chasing after you again.

You rushed up the steps looking around before the attic opened, as you ran under the opening not knowing it did upon the ladder not coming down, someone reached down and scooped you up from under your shoulders.

You tried to fight who whoever grabbed you getting a few hits in before something sharp pierced your skin on your lower back, your vision blurred looking up to see Will, he looked down at you a small sigh leaving his lips as you soonly began to go limp in his arms.

He scooped you up yelling toward the attic opening "I GOT HIM." he spoke, you mumbled something inaudible but he just shushed you brushing the hair out from your face as you dozed off.

"Shh..just rest my dear. You'll understand all of this when the day is new." He whispered before finally your vision went black.

What the hell is wrong with this family?
