Jack soon fell asleep after you, his head resting in the crook of your neck. Your eyes fluttered open slightly a few hours later, you went to sit up but Jacks grip just got even tighter. You gave a small sigh patting his head, he hummed in response happy.
''You aren't gonna let me go, aren't you?'' You said with a small chuckle, Jack nodded moving his head up a bit, ''You're warm..'' He mumbled softly, you snorted.
"I know I am, but my stomach needs food." You slipped away from him earning an annoyed groan to come from the brunette. You walked into the kitchen scanning over the inside of the fridge, it mostly consisted on leftover fast food bags and beer.
You quirked a brow knowing the fast food was probably from weeks ago, closing it and opening the freezer, all he had was microwaved meals. wow. Groaning, you began to raid is cupboards to find SOMETHING to make. You then smiled seeing a box of pancake mix, ''Better then nothing.'' you mumbled grabbing it.

Jack sat up at the sound and smell of cooking, walking lazily to the kitchen, he went to open his mouth to ask what you were doing but paused at the sight of you. You hummed looking over at him while flipping a pancake, 3 or 4 on a plate beside you, covered in syrup. ''Oh yeah- here.'' You handed him the plate and a fork, he stared down at it. You..cooked..for the both of you.
A red dusted on his face as he mumbled a small 'thank you', walking back to the bedroom, proud of your craftsmanship, you chuckled going back to cooking hoping they were good enough for him. Jack sat down on his bed, he took a bite and hummed in satisfaction. He hasn't had a home-cooked meal in a while.
In-fact, he can't remember when he even had one, but it made him feel warm and loved on the inside.
Loved.
Tears streamed down his face, falling onto his exposed legs. Was he really crying over food?
...
Yes. he was.
And it feels good to cry.
It..finally..feels good to cry.
