Sorry I haven't wrote in a while.. Im kinda having problems with this girl.. Im scared to go to school on Monday because I have four classes with her :(

Chapter 4: Ive ruined everything

Kendall's POV

Ethan got down on one knee. My mind was racing. No, no this couldn't be happening.

"Kendall, ever since we started dating two years ago I knew you where the one for me. Will you move to Virginia with me? Will you marry me?"

My brain scanned for excuses. Without meaning too, my eyes flickered to Anthony. He was turning around, leaving.

"Ethan... I cant marry you."

"What?" He said. His face turned pale.

"I cant marry you. Or move to Virginia. I just got a new career as a model. I cant move."

"Oh. I understand." Ethan said, he got up. He gave me a long hug.

"How long until you leave?" I asked.

"I leave tomorrow evening, so I get to spend the night at your house!" Ethan said with a grin.

"Great." I said half hearted. Ethan recognized my tone and asked

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, Im just tired." I lied. I wasn't tired, I wanted to run after Anthony and tell him I wasn't getting married, but it would have to wait.

Anthony's POV

I stormed out the building. Stupid Ethan proposing to Kendall with a ring full of sparkling diamonds. I got in my car and slammed the door. My hands gripped the steering wheel, my knuckles white. I knew I had to calm down before I got into a accident. I took a couple of deep breaths and then pulled out the parking lot. I called Ian and asked him if he wanted anything from McDonalds and he told me what he wanted. I ordered and drove back home. The lights in Kendall's house where still off and her car wasn't there. She must be out partying with Ethan, a celebration over their engagement. Without knowing I slammed the car door, I needed to calm down. I walked inside and set the food down on the table. Ian came downstairs and dug into the food bag. He grabbed his burger and fries. He took his drink and sat on the table.

"You know that girl across the street? Kendall." Ian asked me.

"Yeah." I said.

"I think shes kinda cute.. Should I ask her out."

Something inside me flared. I wanted to yell at Ian and tell him she wasn't interested in him. I felt my palms get sweaty and my heart quicken. I knew I had to calm down, I mean this is my best friend.

"She has a boyfriend." I said. Ian looked a tad bit upset but not as upset as me.

"Oh." Ian said. We ate in science for awhile. Once Ian finished his food he got up and grabbed his jacket.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"Me and Lasercorn where going to catch a movie." Ian said. I nodded

"See you later."

"Bye." Ian said and left. I was alone. I turned on the TV. The channel it showed a guy proposing to a girl. I flipped off the TV and stormed up to my room. I looked out the window and saw Kendall walking up to her house, Ethan ahead of her. She was walking behind him, acting a bit distant. Then she look behind her, at the window, at me. Then Ethan called her name and she turned away from me and went into her house.

Kendall's POV

I looked at Anthony. He looked so sad. I was about to wave or mouth something but Ethan called my name. I went inside my house and went to the kitchen.

"Want any ice cream?" I called to Ethan.

'Sure!" He called back. I took out two bowls and the cookie dough ice cream. While it thawed I looked for the ice cream scooper. I found it then scooped ice cream into each bowl. I got two spoons and put them in the bowls. I walked to the couch, where Ethan was and handed him a bowl. We ate in silence.

"Do you still love me?" Ethan asked.

"Yes." I said. I wasn't sure if I was lying or not. I loved Ethan but now another person was in my life too. I knew in the end I would have to choose one of them. I cant have both. Ethan's sigh of relief brought my focus back to the present.

"Good, I thought you might not love me anymore. You always seem so distant. I don't want to loose you." At the last sentence his voice broke. Hearing that made my eyes water. I got closet to him and snuggled my head on his chest. He stroked my hair and held me close. We stayed there for a while. Then I fell asleep.

I woke up by Ethan shaking me.

"Kendall! The flight times got changed! I have to be at the airport in forty five minutes!"

"Crap!" I said. I had to drive Ethan and the airport was thirty minutes away and he still had to get on the plane. I quickly threw on jeans and a T-shirt and pulled my hair in a ponytail. I slipped on my shoes and grabbed my jacket. Ethan was ready and had his bag packed. I rushed in my car and sped to the airport. We got there ten minutes before he had to be on the plane. I gave Ethan his ticket and bag. Ethan gave me a quick kiss and then ran off. I got in my car and drove back home, instead I pulled up into Anthony's driveway. I knocked on the door.

Anthony's POV

I open the door, its Kendall. She had on jeans and a T-shirt with her hair pulled up in a ponytail. Just seeing her made my heart burn. I looked at her hand, no ring. Did she really say no to her perfect boyfriend? I let her in and got her a diet coke.

"Thanks." She said. She looked away for a minuet. Then she said

"Im not engaged. I didn't accept the ring."

"Why?" I asked.

"He asked me to move along with his hand in marriage. I didn't want to leave."

"Is that all?"

Then Kendall looked at me right in the eye. Her blue eyes where full of sadness and pain. She shook her head no. Then I got up and gave her a hug. Once we parted I gave her a smile. Then the unexpected happened. She leaned in and shoved her lips against mine. And I returned the kiss.
