Chapter 5: No regrets

Kendall's POV

I lost all my self control and smashed my lips into Anthony's. To my surprise he returned the kiss, I let my arms trail up to his neck and his hair. I pulled him closer, my fingers running though his hair. Then Anthony stopped the kiss, his face still close to mine, his hand still on my waist.

"No. Kendall you have a boyfriend. I need to respect that. We have to stop before it goes any further."

"But Anthony I want you, not Ethan."

"I want you too but not while your taken."

"Please." I whispered.

Anthony looked torn. I could tell that he wanted me as much as I wanted him but then he had standards.

"Anthony.. You have standards. I have to respect that. Im sorry for doing this to you. Im going to leave. I might be back."

Before he could say anything I walked outside his house over to mine. I went to my room and opened my laptop. I logged on to Skype and saw Ethan's log on screen. I pressed call and it viewed Ethan's room. He was on his bed, holding hands with a girl, kissing this girl. For the while I was watching them Ethan took off the girl's shirt. Then the girl took off his. Then Ethan noticed the glow from his computer screen. He noticed my face. He noticed me watching.

"Kendall!" He said. "I can-"

Before he could say anything I shut my laptop. I ran to Anthony's house with tears in my eyes. I opened the door and ran into Anthony's arms. I sobbed in his shirt. He wrapped his arms around me, I could feel his warm body comfort me.

"Shh Kendall. Everything is alright." Anthony soothed. He placed his head on top of mine.

"Im here, shhh."

After a while of sobbing I finally stopped.

"What happened?" Anthony asked. I was still in his arms and he was stroking my hair.

"I was skyping Ethan to break up with him and he was... With another girl."

"Oh Kendall, Im so sorry."

I looked up and Anthony looked down. Our eyes met and I saw his eyes. I leaned in and kissed him, I felt his soft lips and his hands on my back. Our kisses got deeper and I enjoyed every bit.

I woke up the next morning in Anthony's bed. I turned over and saw Anthony sleeping, he looked so cute. I got up and went downstairs, I looked inside the cabinets and found pancake mix and a small pan. I mixed the pancake mix and heated the pan. I started frying pancakes. Before I cooked the second batch someone cleared their throat behind me. I turned around and saw Ian.

"Uh.. Hi." I said.

"Anthony! Theres a pretty girl downstairs cooking pancakes! Help!" Ian yelled.

"You're Kendall right?"

I nodded.

Anthony came downstairs and saw me cooking and grinned.

"She cooks too!" He said then kissed me. Ian looked uncomfortable. To break that I asked him if he wanted any pancakes.

"Sure." He said and smiled at me. I made a mental note to make more pancakes.

After breakfast I decided to go to my house and shower and get dressed. I quickly crossed the street and went to my house. I gabbed clean underwear from my draw and clothes from my closet to wear. I checked my phone. 32 new messages and 21 missed calls. All from Ethan. I checked my laptop, 17 missed Skype calls. I rolled my eyes and walked to my bathroom. I turned on the hot water and stood in it. I closed my eyes and let the water fall on my skin. I thought about last night, about Ethan. He was out the picture now, thankfully. And now I had Anthony. I smiled at that thought. I got out the shower and dried off. I slipped on a red sundress with white stripes and red flats. After some debating I decided to curl my hair. I did my makeup light and natural. I was ready for my date with Anthony.

Anthony's POV

After I was done I waited for Kendall. Ian came downstairs and asked

"When did you and Kendall happen?"

"Last night."

"I thought she had a boyfriend?"

"She did. They broke up last night and she came to me crying and it went on from there."

"Oh." Ian looked a little sad. I knew he liked her but he would get over her soon. Just then there was a knock on the door. I opened it, it was Kendall. She looked beautiful, her hair falling at her shoulders, it looked soft glowing golden in the sunlight. I grinned and took her hand and I took a quick peek in the backseat to make sure the basket was still there. I planned a picnic, on the park while the sun set. It would be perfect.

"Where are we going?" She said in her voice as clear as bells, but as sweet as honey.

"Its a surprise." I grinned.

Once we pulled up to the park the sun was beginning to set. I got the basket out the backseat and Kendall beamed.

"Aww a picnic! How sweet!"

I knew the perfect spot too. It was a grassy hill but it was actually a cliff facing the water feet below. Once we got there and I set the blanket down Kendall was grinning. Then she turned to me and said

"This is wonderful."

For dinner I packed French food. I had croissants, chocolate, and strawberries. We ate and talked. It turned out I love her even more. While we watched the sun set we where laying on the blanked, surrounded by sweet smelling grass and flowers. Her head was on my chest and my arms where around her shoulders. Then I decided to ask her a question thats been bothering me.

"Kendall?"

"Yeah Anthony?"

"Do you regret being with me, and leaving Ethan."

"I have no regrets." She said. Then she looked up at me. Her hair now looking like golden fire and her eyes a smoky blue. She leaned in and kissed me.
