plushies

concept: you're on a school cabin camping trip that has provided bunk bed, but one of the teachers made a mistake when planning. (pls forgive me I've never been camping)

you slept with plushies when you sleep. sure, a little embarrassing, but it's comfy as hell. you had this big plus of your favorite animal that you hugged every night. tomorrow was the day your school went camping. the students were separated by which level they were on. you were a second year in class 2B. the cabins held two classes. your class has 2A in your cabin with them. you receive a message from rui, one of your friends that you met in class, bonding over the fact you were both transfer students.

you groaned as your alarm went off and and sat up. while turning off the alarm you spot your bag in the corner, holding all of your school trip supplies. excited, you clean yourself up and get dressed. you grabbed your bag and headed downstairs to eat a quick breakfast before leaving. as you entered the school, you were met by a mischievous giggle and a poke at the shoulder.

"hm?" you turn your head to see rui holding a box of pure candy.

"i told you i bought candy, fufu!"

"but not THIS much? rui we're only gone for like 4 days!"

"uh, hate to break it to you but we're gone for like 7 days..."

"HUH??" you interjected. you only packed clothes for 4 days. guess you're reusing them.

you guys hopped onto a bus together and played games on your phones together until you arrived.

it was already night when you arrived so you went straight to the cabins and into your assigned room. except you didn't and got lost with rui for like 20 minutes.

you looked around. there were 10 beds. and there were 11 peoples, including yourself.  everyone was set up already and some were already sleeping.

"rui, there's only one bed. does that mean I have to sleep in this nasty concrete floor?!"

"yes, and ill take all your blankets so you don't get them dirty!" he joked, "okay but you're seriously not doing that right? if one of us had to sleep on the floor, it'll be me, alright?"

you looked him in the eye. "you're not doing that."

he looked you in the eyes. "you're not doing that either."

"so what, we share a bed or something?"

his face slightly turned red. "i mean, if you want to!"

"well im gonna tell you no one is going to sleep on the floor."

...

"why cant we just ask like a teacher or something?" rui suggested.

you reply, "theyre setting up the campfire."

"right. so, uh, were sharing the bed i guess."

your face flushes at the statement. sharing beds with rui?

you both finish getting settled and awkwardly get into bee with eachother. you notice how pretty his eyes are, and how smooth his hair is, and how soft his skin appears...

"did i ever tell you youre really handsome?"

"ah, handsome..? i dont know about that, but youre really pretty."

you blush at the statement. "i-im going to sleep."

"goodnight!" he replies and mumbles "my love." hoping you dont hear.

you fall asleep after a bit, while rui's still awake. suddenly, he feels two arms wrap around him and hug him. it was your arms, thinking he was a plush. you slept hugging the boy. his body went stiff at first, but then relaxed into your arms and giggled.

the next morning you found yourself cuddling with rui. you had your arms wrapped around him, and he had his arms wrapped around you. he looks so peaceful whilehe was still aslee-

"good morning, y/n." okay, he isn't asleep.

"what are we doing..?"

rui goes on to explain how you suddenly hugged him while you slept. you replied saying that you probably mistaken him for your favorite plushie while extremely embarassed.

"huh, i didnt know you liked to sleep with plushies, my love."

"M-MY LOVE???"

"aha, sorry!"

"GOTCHA! Haha, Reporter Mizuki on the scene!" Mizuki snapped a picture of you guys together.

"THERE WASNT ANY SPACE! AND WHY ARE YOU IN HERE??"

"Tsukasa told me you were in here."

"TSUKASA?!"
