As the raindrops splattered gently against the windows of Eda's cosy house, she found solace in the familiar warmth of her home. The scent of freshly brewed tea filled the air as she sat in the living room, wrapped in a soft blanket.

The previous night had been restless for Eda, her thoughts consumed by the upcoming meeting at ArtLife. It had been a month since Serkan's return, and today was no different from any other day - emotionally and physically tiring. The memory of how Serkan seemed uninterested and distant when they had to discuss their wedding weighed heavily on her heart. The fact that he was now fully engrossed in planning his wedding with Selin made her feel even more detached from him.

As she sipped her tea, her eyes caught a glimpse of the calendar on the wall. The date circled in red served as a poignant reminder - the day of Serkan and Selin's wedding was drawing near. Her heart clenched as she thought about how she should be the one sharing this moment with him, but their paths had diverged, and her dreams of a life with him seemed to be slipping away.

And now, as the rain fell outside, excitement and trepidation swirled within her. A few days ago, she bought a pregnancy test, hoping to confirm the suspicion growing inside her. With each passing week, she had been experiencing nausea every morning and throughout the day, further reinforcing her suspicions.

Her hand instinctively went to her belly as she cried from happiness and sadness - happiness that tiny life was growing within her, someone who would be with her all the time, and sadness because she had no one to share this profound news with. Serkan's distance made her feel even more alone, and she yearned for his support and excitement about their future together.

Feeling determined and apprehensive, Eda called her doctor to book an appointment. As fate would have it, the doctor had an available slot right away, and without hesitation, Eda showered, got dressed, and skipped breakfast to rush to the hospital.

In the waiting room, her mind wandered as she observed couples coming in with hope and leaving with smiles of joy, each carrying the promise of new life. The sight tugged at her heartstrings, reminding her of the love and happiness she wished to experience with Serkan.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the nurse's call, "Eda hanim, Doctor Zeynep is waiting for you."

Taking a deep breath, Eda followed the nurse to Doctor Zeynep's office.

"Merhaba," Eda greeted nervously, her voice betraying her mix of emotions.

Doctor Zeynep's warm smile put her at ease, "Edacim, how are you?"

"Weird," Eda admitted, "All the tests are positive, but I'm not sure about anything right now."

Doctor Zeynep understood her uncertainty and gently reassured her, "It's normal to feel overwhelmed. Let's take a look and confirm everything."

As Eda lay down, the doctor conducted the ultrasound. The screen lit up with a tiny form, a heartbeat echoing in the room. Eda's eyes welled up with tears, her emotions overflowing as she gazed at the miracle unfolding before her.

"Congratulations, Edacim," Doctor Zeynep said with genuine joy, "You are 11 weeks pregnant."

Eda's hand trembled as she wiped away her tears. "Thank you," she whispered, feeling a mix of awe and vulnerability.
