Hello loves,
Hope you're all doing amazing in the last days of August❤️💗
I'm back with the second part of Lament of Exquisite Shadows, which I hope you'll like.
The third part will also come out today; the new shot, "A Touch in the Dark," will come out.💘💘💘
One week had passed since Serkan had poured his heart out to Eda, and their connection had grown even stronger. They had spent every day together, cherishing each moment as if trying to make up for their time apart.Today was Selin's wedding day. A week ago, Serkan talked to Selin and made it clear to her that he loves Eda and that he and Selin can never be a thing, and Selin respected his choice and wished them the best.
Standing outside Eda's house, Serkan's heart raced in anticipation. Despite seeing her almost every day, he had missed her every moment they were apart during the past week. Her presence had become an integral part of his life, and he couldn't imagine a day without her by his side.
And then, just as he had hoped, he saw her coming out of the house. She looked breathtaking and dressed in a light pink tulle dress that flowed gracefully around her. Serkan's breath caught in his throat at the sight of her, his heart swelling with pride and adoration.
Eda noticed him waiting, and her face lit up with a radiant smile. She practically ran towards him, her steps quick with excitement. As she reached him, she threw her arms around his neck, and he instinctively lifted her off the ground, their laughter mingling in the air.
"Are you trying to kill me?" Serkan whispered in her ear, his voice a playful mixture of affection and mock exasperation.
Eda giggled, the sound melodic and infectious. She quickly pecked his lips and teased, "Well, that's not my intention, but I can't promise I won't be a danger to your heart."
Serkan chuckled, holding her close. "Maybe we should skip the wedding," he suggested a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I want to look at the most beautiful painting in the world."
Eda chuckled, shaking her head. "As much as I'd love that, we must attend this wedding. It's important."
Serkan feigned a pout, his arms still wrapped around her. "Fine," he relented, a playful grin tugging at his lips. "But can we at least make a deal? We'll stay for one hour?"
Eda raised an eyebrow, a playful challenge in her eyes. "Two," she countered.
Serkan's expression shifted from playful to stubborn. "Hayir, Eda," he protested, using the Turkish word for 'no'. "I want to be with you, not at a wedding."
Eda grinned, her eyes dancing with amusement. "We'll see," she teased, fingers reaching to play with his hair. "But we should show our faces and give Selin our best wishes."
Serkan's resistance melted as he gazed into Eda's eyes. He couldn't deny her anything, especially when her presence was what he craved the most. With a soft smile, he nodded. "Alright," he agreed, his voice filled with affection. "For you, I'll endure the wedding."
Eda laughed softly, her heart full. She leaned in and brushed her lips against his in a tender kiss. "You're a good sport," she teased, her fingers tracing patterns on his chest.
Serkan's arms tightened around her, pulling her closer. "Only when it comes to you," he replied, his voice a soft murmur.
As they arrived at the wedding venue, Serkan and Eda walked hand in hand, their fingers intertwined as if creating an unbreakable bond. The soft, warm breeze played with Eda's tulle dress, and her radiant smile lit up the entire evening.
