Hello loves,
Hope you are doing amazing wherever you're and whatever you're doing.
I'm back with the fourth part of this story, and I hope you'll like it; let me know what you think about it, and also, if you have any prompts, you can write them down in the comments, and I'll work on them.
Anyways I wrote this chapter half asleep and tired, and if there are some mistakes, I apologize.
Enjoy!
Lots of hugs and love,
Nare.
🍼🍼🍼The warm glow of twilight wrapped around their family home as Serkan parked the car. Today marked the end of one journey and the beginning of another; their little Kiraz was coming home for the first time. The residence, which had once echoed with laughter and playful banter between Eda and Serkan, was about to resonate with the innocent gurgles of their daughter.
Helping Eda out, Serkan approached the back door with the utmost care, unbuckling Kiraz from her seat. The moment he lifted her into his arms, her tiny fingers instinctively clutched onto his shirt, seeking warmth and comfort. As Eda leaned in to adjust Kiraz's little pink hat, the trio looked picture-perfect — a family united by an indescribable bond.
Continuing the journey through their home, Serkan moved towards the sunroom, a room that had always been Eda's favourite. With its large glass windows, the sunroom was bathed in a golden hue as the setting sun filtered through, casting playful patterns on the floor. The soft rustling of leaves and birds chirping from the garden outside added a musical background to their special moment.
"This, Kiraz," he said, his voice soft and filled with reverence, "is our sunroom. It's where your mama and I have spent many evenings watching the sunset, discussing our future, and imagining the day we'd introduce you to the world's beauty."
He stepped closer to a particularly comfortable-looking armchair, upholstered in a warm shade of blue. "Here," he continued, gently bouncing Kiraz in his arms, "I've read stories out loud to your mama's belly, hoping you'd hear my voice. And soon, I'll read them to you, watching your eyes light up wonderfully."
Kiraz seemed to be in tune with her father's emotions, her tiny hand reaching out to touch the rays of sunlight streaming in. She cooed softly, captivated by the dance of light and shadow.
Seeing her so engrossed, Serkan chuckled, "Looks like you'll love this place just as much as we do." He leaned down, kissing gently on Kiraz's forehead, sealing the promise of countless more sunsets and stories in their beloved sunroom.
Upon reaching her nursery, Serkan hesitated momentarily, taking in the pastel shades and soft touches they had so lovingly chosen for their daughter. His voice, filled with a tenderness only a father could possess, dipped to a whisper. "Look, Kiraz," he cooed, "this is your room."
He lowered her gently into the crib, letting her tiny hands brush against the cloud-soft blankets and the plush toys that awaited her embrace. Her curious fingers grabbed a stuffed bunny, its fabric soft against her delicate skin.
But soon, Kiraz's big eyes looked up at Serkan, her lower lip trembling ever so slightly. A soft whimper escaped her, making Serkan's heart twinge. Without a second's delay, he scooped her back into the safety of his arms. Her tiny head rested against his chest, immediately comforted by the rhythmic beat of his heart.
Laughing softly, Serkan whispered into her ear, "All right, my little cherry, maybe we're not quite ready for the crib just yet." Holding her close, he relished the warmth of the bond they were building.
Continuing their tour, Serkan sat down by the window with Kiraz, showing her the city lights beginning to twinkle. His kisses rained down on her face — each one a promise of everlasting love. Looking deep into her innocent eyes, he murmured, "Evine hoşgeldin kızım."
