Walking out the shower, I see khelani on the bed watching tiktoks, I couldn't help but to laugh. "Psttt browning" I said just to be ignored. "Cut the lady right now and yuh nuh see nuh blood". Might give her something After if she be a good girl. 

The next day\October 16

Today is going to be a very long day, I have a lot of meetings since I was not coming in to work, My secretary needs a raise for real she has been keeping everything under control and I comend her for that. 

I have a meeting with Alkaline today's as he wants to use one of my venues for his stage show, Lanny and alkaline have been seeing each other for quite a while now. Mi nuh too really know nothing cause a when khel and lanny deh pan the phone mi hear. 

Speaking of khel I need to call her, her mom has been calling me from morning to talk to her about a birthday dinner and I know she's ignoring her.

After rapping up the call with khelani, I made a mental note to get her some flowers after finishing up at work. Alkaline called me telling me he's an hour away, so now I'm putting some files together until he arrives.

After stocking papers for what feels like hours the man himself has entered the building.

I shake his hand keeping it professional, I had him and his team follow me to the conference room. Good afternoon Mr. Bartley you can take a seat I said pointing to the chair on the other side of the table in the conference room.

So Lanny told me that you're interested in hosting a party at one of my venues, I am happy you decided to chose me to work with, as you know I will provide everything which is need such as the bottle girls and the dancers. 

"Ye man no problem just mek mi know the cost cause mi know yah guh handle this" he said

After giving the price we rap up the meeting, he invited me and khel to one of his performance tomorrow to which I agreed. As he left the conference room I check the time to see that it is only 1:45 so I head back down to my office to get some more work done.

Khelani's Pov

I have been on my feet all day, Today I worked at the hospital from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m., Now I am heading to the store trying to get updated with everything I missed.  Pumping my music and driving is like therapy to me. 

Pulling into the parking lot, I sighed knowing there is going to be a lot of questions for me to answer. I can hear the murmurs a mile away, typical Jamaican people. 

"A swear the lady did a breed du to how mi nuh see her how long" A random female said a little too loud as I stepped out my car. Ignoring her I went straight in the store.

"Then the lady come affa her honey moon" my favorite worker shouted, all the girls started coming out and as we locked eyes together we stated laughing.
