All The Strings Attached

This is just the begining

I woke up that morning and checked my phone, as always. I decided to text DJ, "Hey it's Jackie, do u wanna hang out today?" I texted, I quickly got I response "yeah, meet me outside in 30" I smiled and put down my phone then hopped in the shower across from from my room. I quickly shampooed my hair and put some conditioner in my hair, while tht was setting I shaved my legs and washed my body. I stepped out of the shower, dried, then brushed my teeth. I walked back to my room an checked the time, I had 20 minutes until I went to meet DJ. I sat in my chair next to my mirror and started my make up, I just put on some concealer, winged eyeliner, and some mascara. I ran the sraightener through hair and then brushed it. I was still in my towel so I put on a pair of high waisted shorts and a tank that said "life's a beach" in light blue bubble letters. I grabbed my phone and slipped on white sandals then headed down stairs. "Hey mom, I'm going to hangout with DJ today ok?" I asked "Oh! Found some friends" "yeah, is it ok?" "Of course! Grab something to eat though." She replied. So walked in to the kitchen grabbed a Quest bar and a water then walked out the door. I was walking when I bumped in to someone, I looked up and it was DJ "sorry, I want looking" I giggled "it's ok, my place?" We headed to his house and he invited me in, we made our way up stairs, and we both say I. His blue bean bag chairs, "tell me about you, who is jackie?" He asked. "Well, my name is Jackie Samantha Cooper, I'm from California, I'm 17, and I sing" his eyes widened when I said I can sing. "SING FOR ME!!" He yelled " okay, okay! Chill! What do you want me to sing?" "Anything" he relied " ok well I'm a big Shawn Mendes fan, I'll sing Srings, it's my favorite" I only sang part because I was already nervous. "I want all the Srings attached I love it when you look at me like that it's like always and forever" I continued through the chorus and he just starred at me. "That was amazing!!" He said with a smile. "Thankyou, I jhave been singing since 8. " I told him. " well it was great" "thanks" I laughed. We continued to talk about just life in general, we started in to each others eyes for what seemed like an eternity, but I never wanted to look away. It was 7:30 now and his mom called us for dinner, we had baked chicken, spinach and mShed potatoes. It was delicious, I thanked his mom and he walked me home. I got home and face timed my friend for a while and told her all about DJ. The same thing happened every day for the next week. One day everything changed. DJ came to my house around 9 :00a.m and he woke me up by jumping on my bed, we only knew each other for two week but it felt like forever. "I need to talk to you about something" he said and laid down next me "so I know that we have only known each other for like two weeks but it feels like forever, would you be my girl friend?" He just looked at me with an empty look, I smiled and hugged him tight " I would love to!" He hugged me back and then he looked at me" one more thing" he said "huh?" I was confused. "Say hi to Younow!" He got up and grabbed his phone from being hidden behind some make up containers, it was positioned so that I wouldn't notice it, but the camera just got everything. "OHMIGOD!" I said and was laughing. "You were broadcasting the whole time?!" I yelled "yep!" "Awee" I said and kissed his cheek. "Ok well sorry for the rush but I have to be home for dinner tonight." He said and stood up as he ended his broadcast. "Ok, I'll see you tomorrow?" I asked holding his hands. "Yes you will" he said and kissed my lips. "wonder whether or not I should tell dad"I asked. "Don't worry about it, I already talked to both your parents. "Awe! Ok" I hugged him and then we both walked out the door, he hopped on his bike and I walked back inside. "All good?" My mom asked with the I know what happened look. "Very" I said and laughed I headed up to my room and got ready for bed. I texted DJ "goodnight babe💙" and he quickly replied. I plugged my phone in and went to sleep.
