Mr. Hardon lost his job, was convicted, and got sent to prison for a long time for his horrendous crimes. Big Corp Inc., not wanting to deal with bad publicity and lawsuits, sought to keep the incident quiet with a substantial payout to Candy and other special accommodations, which she readily accepted. As a result of the fallout, the company went through some adjustments to make the workplace culture less toxic, and finally added an HR department. A new boss was promoted to take Mr. Hardon's place, a Giant who was far more competent and respectful of all his employees, including the women, Giantess and human alike. Over time, Big Corp Inc. amassed more human employees, so Candy didn't feel quite so isolated among her Giant peers. Candy was more than happy to help the new humans feel welcome and lead them to success.

Candy never knew that Ronny was the one that called the police. However, she did notice a change in him. He never harassed her like he used to. He never spoke to her either, unless he was begrudgingly forced to interact, and in those instances he remained taciturn, yet civil. She didn't understand why he was so different all of a sudden, but she welcomed the serenity it offered to her, and the other humans in the office. In fact, Candy was shocked to see Ronny one day conversing politely, albeit stiffly, with another human woman in the break room. He never apologized to her for his actions, but she was fine with him just leaving her alone. That was more than enough.

Once Candy had recovered from her ordeal, she was eager to catch up with Bianca. To her delight, Bianca reported good results with Gio. He was finally acclimating to having a Giantess girlfriend and he loved it, and loved her. Martin, Candy, Bianca, and Gio went on a double date together and had a great time. Gio was mildly afraid of Martin at first, but when he saw how gentle the Giant was with his human girlfriend, he warmed up to him quickly. They all went back to Martin's apartment to hang out for a while and Gio, being an auto mechanic himself, nerded out with Martin over his model cars. They all became fast friends.

Candy officially moved in with Martin, so she wasn't homeless anymore. She felt truly blessed to have such a wonderful Giant man in her life. He treated her with the upmost respect and care, and showered her with all the love she could ever want. She loved him dearly, and he reciprocated in spades. She had found her soulmate.

Martin didn't want to broach the touchy subject of Mr. Hardon's abuse with Candy, so he left it alone until Candy felt ready to talk. Candy had been closed off for so long, she had difficulty speaking about it, but with Martin's undying love and support she finally, after some time, opened up to him—not just about that, but about everything. To pour out all her sorrows that she had kept bottled up, all her buried traumas and pain, was cathartic. She spilled her guts while Martin held her close, listening attentively and hanging on to every word. She felt relieved she didn't have to hide her true self anymore, didn't have to keep secrets. Martin was there for her, loving her unconditionally, through thick and thin.

Martin was horrified to hear everything Candy suffered through and regretted not being able to protect her. He supported her the best he could and kept her safe from that point onward. However, there was one nagging detail Candy told him about that piqued his curiosity—and perhaps his appetite. The pills. He didn't know how to bring them up to her, after she had been eaten viciously so many times, but he couldn't deny he also had a compulsion to eat his adorable, tasty, bite-sized girlfriend. His Maneater blood ran strong in his veins, after all. Of course, he would never eat her without her full, enthusiastic permission and participation.

One bright morning, after Candy had plenty of time to move on from her past horrors, Martin finally worked up the courage to ask her about it. "Candy, I had the most wonderful dream," Martin said to her. Candy was splayed out on his belly, looking small and cute as she rested her chin in her hand, listening intently. Martin scooped her up off his belly and held her in the air above his face, while still lying down himself. Candy giggled and he smiled. "I dreamed that you and I were getting married."

"Oh, how lovely!" Candy cooed, starry-eyed at the thought. She loved romantic things, and loved Martin even more.

"We had a big, fantastic, multi-layered wedding cake that was nearly as tall as me where it sat on the table! And you know how sometimes they put little figurines of the bride and groom on top of the cake? Well, instead of a plastic figure, you were standing on the cake. And you looked so beautiful in your wedding dress." He smiled as Candy blushed at the mental image. "So, I cut myself a slice of cake from the top layer, where you were standing. And... I started taking bites of the cake, which tasted really good. But the best-tasting part of the cake... was where you were. I, um... I put you in my mouth... and you tasted soooooo sweet and delectable... and, uh... I swallowed... and the feeling was so satisfying, almost like coitus..."

Martin's face turned bright red and radiated heat like a furnace. He stared up at Candy, his stormy eyes glistening with longing, to gauge her reaction. She batted her eyes at him. "Is that so?" Candy purred seductively. Martin nodded and swallowed a mouthful of drool. "Martin, would you mind giving me my backpack on the nightstand?"

Martin was puzzled by this request, but complied, handing Candy her tiny bag while she was still suspended above his face. Candy unzipped the bag and dug through it, searching. She pulled out a small bottle and popped the cap. Martin squinted to see what the infinitesimal thing was. Candy transferred something from her hand to her mouth and gulped it down. A pill. Martin's heart started to pound in his chest and his stomach grumbled with desire. Candy put the pills back in her bag and threw it aside.

"Eat me, Martin!" Candy proclaimed, spreading her arms.

"Are—are you sure? You're okay with this?" Martin stammered, scarcely believing that his wild fantasy was coming true. He licked his lips with a combination of rapturous desire and anxiety.

Candy blushed again. "I've... been wanting this too," she confessed bashfully. "For a while now." Martin couldn't wait another second, and opened his mouth wide, elated. He was drooling fiercely. He set Candy down on his stubbly chin, and she hopped inside eagerly, without any hesitation, to a warm embrace of his big, slimy tongue. He gently closed his jaws around her and felt every inch of her body with his tongue, relishing her soft curves and delicious flavor. He felt like he was dreaming. She was perfect.

He let her slide down the slope of his fleshy tongue into his gullet and swallowed her as gently as he could manage. She went down smooth as butter. Martin sighed with contentment as he felt her drop into his stomach. He felt euphoria that was beyond what he had expected, to have her inside him. It was such a relief, indeed a rush, to know he could safely eat her and enjoy the feeling without having to worry about digesting her. He could feel her moving around inside him, and the experience was incredible.

Candy felt safe and content in Martin's belly. Being inside his body, sensing his every heartbeat and breath, perceiving every subtle movement of his Giant body from within, was remarkably intimate. She felt closer to him than ever, in tune with him on a visceral level. She rubbed his stomach walls sensually and he moaned with erotic pleasure, his thumping heartbeat quickening. She loved being able to please him in such a special way. They were a match made in heaven.

When Candy first started working at Big Corp Inc., she had felt like her life was coming apart at the seams. She had believed herself inadequate to deal with the insurmountable challenges before her. And, in some ways, she had been proven right. The weight of the world bore down on her with full force, and she couldn't manage it on her own. It nearly destroyed her and ruined her life. However, she had learned that she didn't have to face the world alone. She had cherished friends and loved ones to lend a helping hand. And in the end, life had been bountiful. She was content. She was happy.
